Robin was tempted to put his hand on Cybil's shoulder, but decided to respect the catgirl's personal space unless she allowed him otherwise. "I'm sorry. I want to try and get everyone home if I can, but in all the books I've read I can't find anything useful."

"No, you can still eat from the seal. There is still more than enough for you", Timea answered, standing up, and moving to where she had buried the seal. "I'll also need you to take the rest of it as you move, as I'll need to have my hands free."
Beginning to dig, she was quiet for a moment. "You'll probably not be able to talk me out of this stance, no. But I'll explain the reasoning behind it", she said eventually. "I've already mentioned that I'm very much against creatures being imprisoned like this, kept this way probably since birth, viewed not as a animal, but simply a product. I also can't stand the routine, respectless taking of life that comes with it. I don't like loveless breeding programmes, meant to keep up the "supply". I don't like how land had to be cleared for both the pastures for the cattle, and the fields where the crops to feed them, and how this drives other creatures from their territories."
Catching herself getting angry - hearable in both her voice, and increasingly aggressive digging strokes - Timea stopped talking, and went through her breathing exercise to calm herself. After, she spoke in a more level way. "Frankly, I could go on, but I do think I've made my point. The less commerce I engage in - directly or otherwise - the better."
"Amazing..." Robin said, taking out his tome to write in it. "What do you think is happening here?"

"Alright." Anik said, put her coat back on, put out the fires and followed a few steps behind Timea.
She stood and listened to Timea talk and dig, hearing and sensing her getting increasingly angry. "I can see your point." she finally said. "I'm not sure if I agree, but ... let's leave this discussion. We are fine with how we do things right now. And it certainly does not seem healthy if you always need to fight your conscience when we buy meat.
... I also don't have much money left, so this is practical enough."
She was quiet for some time, then said: "I hope it is not too much then, if I have to carry it. We don't have a bag for it, and this will encumber me quite a bit."

The Doctor got up on the floor wiping the dirt off his close "Kerras, you must of had something that helps you, a device, a mystical being, a special type of magic. Was there anything of note that helped you on that mission?"

"Perhaps I shall have you lead me there someday. If its inhabitants have as much potential and are as easy to control as you, our forces could be bolstered considerably." Quan Chi remarked, crossing his arms. "But enough of that. We must move to the task at hand. Do you know of any artifacts or places of magic in this realm?"

You can only listen helplessly as you begin to talk; [color=0066cc]"Magic is outlawed in this land. Any practitioners have captured by the state. I do not know where they are. The most common magical artefact is called skymetal, and it is also outlawed here but might be available at an island to the north. There is also a man who has a book of magic spells, but I have not met him in several days. A runestone attached to my former prosthetic is also magical in nature, and is most likely in the city I was imprisoned in. A travelling partner, who might also still be in the city, is capable of binding spirits to objects."[/color] -

Robin scribed Cybil's theories on dimensions, fascinated. "Hmm... Is there any way to contact other worlds?"
Quan Chi nodded and thought. "Perhaps we should return to the city where you were jailed. We can obtain your prosthetic, find this soul binding man and perhaps... convince someone to lead us to these captured spellcasters."

"Yes, let's", Timea agreed. Finishing digging up what was left of the carcass, Timea pulled it out of the hole, and moved it closer to Anik, showing it to be some 200kg in weight. "This is what we have left. I don't think you'll be able to lift it, but you should be able to drag it along."
"Blast. I was hoping we could contact your homeworld, so you can see your family and perhaps they can examine what's happening here." Robin explained.
