Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:07​

"I would never~!" Timea called out with mock indignation, her tone and a small snicker after she finished speaking making it clear she wasn't actually offended.
When Anik started counting down, Timea took a small breath, readying herself for the starting mark.

In the competition, Timea was a fair bit slower than Anik, as she was still new to the exercise, she needed to make a conscious effort to keep proper form. By the time Anik would reach 100, Timea was only on 82.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:19

"Hundred!" Anik called out as she arrived at the number, and let herself lay flat on her belly, panting. She listened to Timea, noticing she was still working out.

Turning on her back, she took her hands behind her head, and waited until Timea was finished.

The wolf growled quietly, and his pendant began glowing brightly. The Doctor would begin to feel off-balance, and slightly motion sick. "I told you to back up your claims first, and then I might answer your questions."

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:21​

Timea didn't immediately respond to Anik, so to not lose count.

Reaching the 100th push-up two minutes after Anik finished, Timea moved to sit on her knees, rolling her shoulders. "My, my. You beat me! Congratulations, you~" she said, not sounding very tired. "So, what's next?"

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:21

Even though she thought not much of it, Anik still felt some pride, besting a dragon in doing push-ups. Smirking, she said:
"As I am in this position right now, sit-ups are best. Be careful to only use the belly muscles, and not the feet or hands as well."

She showed them off again, keeping her head, steadied by her hands, off the ground, but only rising a little bit, so as to not use other muscles.
"Do this until you muscles start hurting - well, if they do." she said, then continued doing a lot of sit-ups.

"Are there a lot of people there?" Robin asked.

Quan Chi yanked the blade out, leaving Shara's corpse to fall to the ground as the duplicate formed and stepped out of the cauldron, dripping with the magic liquid she was spawned from. Both arms were intact. Quan Chi moved his arms and chanted, a yellow glow enveloping Shara's corpse and capturing her soul, transferring it into the newly created Shara and equipping her with a corrupted, black version of her old outfit and weaponry. "It is a shame you did not fully agree to my terms, but it matters not. You are now a revenant, my servant. Understand?" Quan Chi commanded the revenant.

You look around wildly for a moment or two, and then turn to face Quan Chi. You feel cold chains tightening in your head as you hear yourself say; [color=0066cc]"Yes."[/color]

The Doctor backed away slowly "the only evidence I have is the God ET. Which is probably flimsy I admit but judging by your denial I know at this point someone helped you." the doctor then got a chair to keep himself away from Kerras. "Whoever your partner is they're playing you like a fool. tell me now before this gets ugly."

"Good. You will be useful now that you have been restored." Quan Chi asked, lazily gesturing to Shara's regrown arm.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:26​

Timea listened to Anik's instructions, and looked to the movements she went through, taking note of how far to rise up. After, she got into position, and started doing the exercises, herself. She took a few moments to do it right, but was able to do it with quick repetitions eventually.

Not feeling much strain, Timea stopped soon after Anik did. "Hmm. I don't really feel like these exercises are doing anything for me. Maybe I should just stick to doing my own things. I can still help and make it more difficult for you, though."

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:26

Anik stopped and started stretching, answering: "Yes, I actually had this thought. If you can shift your body, your muscles definitely do not seem to work the same way. In theory, shouldn't you be able to just shift yourself bigger muscles?"

Switching the leg she was stretching, she added: "You said that Ootanarah is closer to Veketta, right? How long do you think we have to walk?"

[color=9f2089]"Kinda."[/color] Cybil replied. [color=9f2089]"There's me, my three sisters, and my parents. It's a lot of people in the context of living in the same building."[/color]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:26​

"I can made it look like that. But in in reality, no. I can only shift my mass around, and compress it. I can't create more", Timea explained, then was quiet for a moment, thinking. "Although, what you said did just give me an idea. I could make them contract and relax rapidly; In theory, this should have the same result as conventional exercise." Letting out a small laugh, she said, "My! Thank you for the idea~!"

When Anik asked her question, Timea thought for a moment. "Hmm. I'm not sure. A distance equal to that between Meltha and Femesh Daer, maybe?"

"I don't care where the evidence comes from, I just want to hear it." Kerras replied. The Doctor would feel himself put even further off balance, as though his sense of equilibrium was being thrown completely off.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:26

Anik laughed. "What am I doing? Giving you all kinds of ideas!
I thought you could shift it where you need it. But this - this seems like it could work. Well, I don't know your body, but it sounds reasonable.

And ... well, I forgot how long this took, but alright. Hopefully it will not be too long then, just walking and then falling asleep because I get too tired limits options to do other things somewhat."

She got up. "Well, anyways, you said that there is not much seal left. Was this place one where you could hunt, or do we need to buy meat again? Or ... what do we eat for breakfast?"

"I was told by this mysterious God that whatever happened to the sun is only the beginning of something worse and to come to this island. that's all the evidence I have." The Doctor said as he lost his balance and fell to the floor "This partner of yours has bigger plans and if we don't stop them things are going to get worse for everyone." the doctor felt like he was going to throw up as he look at Kerras "I know you at least care about your people."

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:27​

"There is still some, so I wouldn't grow extremely hungry, but it's still not nearly enough to be optimal. And I don't know what kind of wildlife is out in the east, but if seals live around the ice, I don't expect too any of them to be around the coast. And other creatures wouldn't amount to too much, either", Timea answered. "But, I don't really want to have a meal be bought, either. I feel wrong supporting industry.

No, I had the thought to let you and Hillary go on ahead, and that I would meet you on the road, after getting a meal from the farms, here."

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:27

Anik frowned, but then said: "Alright. It's not something I would do ... at least look that it is not something that would put a farmer in poverty.

Or ... I feel wrong stealing. ... I don't know. Can I even argue with you about this? I don't really understand your position, not wanting to buy the same thing. If we had something to trade, I would understand, but ..."

She trailed off, not knowing how to continue. Finally, she said: "Well, before we go, I at least need to get myself breakfast. Should I go hunting on my own, as well?"
