"Alright, fair enough." Anik said. "I think this is it. All I wanted to ask, all I could do here."

She stood up, preparing to leave the room. "Farewell, then. You're probably not as stupid as me, so you probably will be fine on your own. Thank you for answering my questions." She made a curteous bow.

Femesh Daer, Beach Area - Day 10 - 16:48​

90 minutes after setting out back to the campsite, Timea had eaten her meal, and made her way back to the city. With what she had eaten being than what she needed, she was still rather peckish, but put up with it, wanting to leave the area more than leaving with a filled stomach.

She had put the new statuette she was working on the previous night inside Anik's bag, and carried this and the cane in her right hand. Walking around, Timea sniffed the air, tracking Anik down.

Anik was sitting at the corner of a house, looking quite sad and angry, mostly trying to shut out the world around her, although being ready to jump up as soon as she sensed Quan Chi.

Sensing Timea approaching, she sluggishly stood up, but said nothing.

Sniffing out Anik, Timea approached Anik. Seeing how sullen Anik looked, Timea frowned a little, wondering how her conversation with Shara went to make Anik feel the way she did.

"Anik", she called out to announce her pressence. Stopping four paces away from Anik, she asked, "are you all finished, and ready to head out?" Wanting to get going above all else, she opted to wait to ask what happened, until they were on the move.

 

[Silence]

"... I guess I am." Anik said, more or less growling. "We should just be careful about this sorcerer trying to backstab us. But that can happen anytime."

Clicking, she made herself ready to follow Timea immediately.

"Mainly your appearance. Now you have been exposed as a fugitive, and one with quite a distinct appearance at that, you will be hunted. Perhaps I should craft a shawl or hood or some other such item for you..." Quan Chi seemed almost friendly and casual, but his mood suddenly darkened. "And I am loathe to change your will further, as it might make you less effective, but I warn you, if you continue speaking back to me and revealing my secrets, I will without hesitation. Understood?"

Femesh Daer - Day 10 - 16:48

Creaking metal could be heard near the shore of Femesh Daer as Yeager's ship started to come off of the dry dock and into the water. It was about twice the length of a standard wooden ship, with a pointed bow and flat stern. The middle of the ship was much wider than any other part of the ship. The deck was largely flat, with the exception of a few access ports to get inside the ship, and a single smokestack directly in the center of the wide middle part of the ship, but no steam was being expelled from it even as it moved in the water. Along the sides of the ship were what appeared to be access panels of some kind, including some that were along the water level, which were closed at the moment. There was a rudder, but there appeared to be no propellers, sails, oars, or any other kind of method that would propel the ship forward. Nevertheless, the ship slowly and silently started to move parallel to the shoreline while keeping a fair amount of distance from it.

Timea let out a "hmm" as Anik replied, strongly suspecting it had something to do with her mood. Wondering if Anik had been attack, she sniffed Anik's scent again for the scent of blood, but found nothing, other than the lingering scent of it on Anik's face. "... Le-", she began to say, but was cut off as Yeager's ship sprang to life. With a dark scowl on her face, she watched as the ship began to sail out, scoffing at the sight of it. "Yes, it's high time we left. Come on." With this said, Timea turned around, and made to leave Femesh Daer, walking at a brisk pace.

Femesh Daer Area - Day 10 - 16:58​

Ten minutes after leaving Femesh Daer - during which time Timea had been silent, carefully observing the area - Timea slowed down, although didn't relax, yet.

"What happened, Anik?" she eventually asked. "Clearly, it didn't go well."

 

[Silence]

Femesh Daer - Day 10 - 16:48

Hearing the metal, Anik frowned, but thinking it was one of Yeagers constructions, and not having any more reason to mistrust him, did not care too much about it. Sensing Timeas anger, she followed without another word.

"I fucked up. Completely." Anik answered, her voice full of self-loathing. "I tried to do the right thing, and now it is my fault that Shara is back with that sorcerer. It was my fault that she was made her slave in the first place. And trying to help - which might be impossible - just brought him back. Only now he knows my face as well."

Femesh Daer Area - Day 10 - 16:58​

Hearing Anik's answer, Timea stopped in her tracks, sharply turning her head to look to Anik. "Pardon me?" she asked, almost in disbelief. Her minded jumped to conclusions, thought she kept herself taking these thought as fact.

Frowning, Timea, with a low voice, asked, "...What did you do?"

 

[Silence]

Femesh Daer Area - Day 10 - 16:58

Anik nearly walked into Timea as she stopped, only the heat of the blanket activating her reflexes to slightly jump back, even though she nearly burned her hand. Finding her footing again, she responded.

"I brought her to Rebecca - the one I wanted to meet again anyways. To figure out what could be done. But Quan Chi just appeared inside her room out of nowhere." she said. "I should never have brought her there. But Yeager wanted to kill her - he asked me about it. I did not know what to do. But I clearly decided for the most stupid thing."
