"I would not know where to run in any case." Anik said. She frowned, hearing Timea suggesting to head back. "Should we buy you more food? I thought you had caught something here. Or ... I don't really understand why to head back. I hoped I could leave this damn place behind me.

... I guess there is no point in arguing. Shara asked me to look for Robin, as well. I just ... I don't know. I'm not good in asking for people. What would I say? 'Have you seen a white-haired guy'? Did not all people here have white hair? I doubt people would remember his smell or tone of voice."

Not feeling well about either kind of thing to do, going on or heading back, Anik said: "I'm always running in the dark. ... I don't know what to do."

As the ship moved forward, the hatches on the water level opened up, allowing water to pour into the ship. This did not seem to negatively affect the ships buoyancy, and a few moments later steam began to come out of the smokestacks.

"You and me, both", Timea respond in Anik saying she wished to leave Femesh Daer behind, letting out a soft, bitter and still somewhat angry-sounding chuckle. "Whatever the case, Robin blends in with the crowd, especially if he has changed clothes. The others with him, however, would not. A general description to mention would be--" Timea answered, going on to list an on-point description of those who were with Robin, the last time Timea saw the group in Utarra, and who would stand out the most. "You should ask this first to the guards stationed at the entrances, then to the captains if they don't know anything. If none have seen them, then I suppose that's that."

Femesh Daer Area - Day 10 - 17:07

Anik remembered the descriptions, hoping that she would be able to recite them, as imagining and remembering them this way was impossible for her to do. "Alright, I will. Let us get this behind us as soon as possible." she said. "Will you hunt in the meantime? Just ... walk with me until we are in Femesh Daer again, at least."

"I'd really rather not go out and buy meat, so, yes. I will. Although, I realised it would ultimately be more efficient if we didn't go our own ways, here. For one, I can help speed up asking the questions, and correct you, should you remember anything wrong. And, I would most likely be gone for a good amount of time, during which you'll go on an empty stomach", Timea answered, walking with Anik, back towards Femesh Daer, having smelled the scent of food on Anik's breath was rather old. "So, we shall go together."

Femesh Daer Area - Day 10 - 17:09

"Alright, you are right." Anik said, just now remembering that she actually had forgotten to eat. "Yes, I like this much better." she added. "It's not like I really would be safe in the town, either..."

Walking back to Femesh Daer, Aniks stomach began to rumble, after all the talk about food.


Femesh Daer Area - Day 10 - 17:19

After another ten minutes, they arrived back in Femesh Daer, approaching a pair of guards in the harbor.

"Excuse me?" Anik asked one. "Did you see a group of people head through here some time ago? If yes, do you know where they were headed?" She proceeded to tell the description of the group members Timea had said to her, including Robin and Cybil. When she was unsure, Timea chimed in to give some more details.

The guards stopped and thought for a few moments, before one replied, "I think two of them passed through a day or so ago." He would then describe Cybil and Robin, though the description would be primarily based on clothing.

"Only two of them? Huh ..." Anik asked, puzzled. "Were they with anyone else?"

She found the nearest guard and asked if they had heard anything about anyone who seemed out-of-place, apart from the Vesh'Rah showing up yesterday.

"Odd ... well, thank you for your time." Anik said, and turned back to Timea. "Well, we don't know their goal, but we at least know that they are on this continent. With Vesh'Rah, for some reason ... maybe we can figure out where they went, later. For now ... I just want out of this town."

After spending some time thinking, the guard said to Cybil, "Well... there was the merchant, Yeager, and his red-eyed companions. They seemed a little out of place, but they left a few days ago. And, the other day, a traveler tried to enter the city. The gate guard said he seemed like a northerner, but he couldn't be, since he was bald."

"Yeager? Where did he head? And did this blad person tell you their name?" Robin asked.

"I can't release you from the spell, but you will be able to live as you wish." Quan Chi told her, figuring she'd fall in line before she headed home and if not he could just order her to anyway.

"Indeed, thank you", Timea answered the guard after Anik, happy to find the start of the search was didn't last long.

Walking away, Timea looked to Anik, saying, "hmm. If I never see this place again, it will be too soon." Blowing a sigh, Timea paused, then, as she left the city, continued. "This is strange. Yeager's... "adjustments" lead me to think Calibeth is preparing for war. But, if the others came through with Vesh'Rah, maybe that wouldn't be so?"

You frown, and you mumble something about needing a few minutes to think as you turn and walk away from Quan Chi. You sit down next to your corpse, looking at it as you try to decide how to act. Finally, you decide to meditate on the matter, and see if you'll reach clarity.

"Well ... war might be a possibility." Anik said, following Timea. "But it really does not seem odd ... they probably were delegates, right? Or what else could they be? I doubt Robin and Cybil were planning an assassination. So ... it's politics. The thing we stayed out of. Luckily. Maybe they did not? Figured out the same thing we did, but decided to take more action, even though it meant finding out less about a way back to their own worlds?

Well, let's hope it won't be war. Actually ... I doubt a bigger fleet of Vesh'Rah would even be able to break through Yeagers defenses. So, I guess we are safe here in any case? Let's just hope Yeager spoke true, and his ... stuff is purely for defense."
