"Yes. This is what happens when deities die. Though some of them do break free, again." Et replied. Anik would sense no part of Et's heart that was similar to Atarakka. Et then said to Timea, bluntly, "Maybe. I have no idea how to send you home."

"So, all the people that have been pulled to this world, are now stuck on it. Don't you think this will heavily backfire, sooner rather than later?" Timea questioned, stopping as Anik stopped.

After speaking, Timea covertly sniffed the air, to see what Et smelled like.

Village Church - Day 14 - 11:15

"... so theoretically, if someone were to kill all the gods, you would be whole again?" Anik asked, but her tone made it clear that she was in no mind to actually do this, for several reasons.

When Et said that he had no idea how to send people home, she got angry. "So you have not even an idea how to send people to other worlds? Just how to lure them here?" she asked, while continuing coming closer to Et.

Day 14 - 11:16

"I don't see how it would backfire." Et said to Timea, before responding to Anik. "I wouldn't say 'lure'. I noticed a way into this world and simply widened it to increase the odds of people coming through. It's entirely possible you would have come through without my input. And to answer your other question, yes." Timea would not detect any scent coming from Et.

Village Church - Day 14 - 11:15

Anik shortly turned her head to Timea and said: "So it seems our best bet are the others, Timea." She then got on with walking, but stopped shortly before Et, hesitating, then asking: "Could I feel you?"

Village Church - Day 14 - 11:16​

"Consider the amount of unsavoury people now roaming about this world, I can think of various ways. For example, there is someone going around resurrecting the dead for slaves. Who's to say he couldn't find a way to do the same to the gods, thus locking them out of a whatever process it may be that reunites them with yourself upon death?" Saying this, Timea based the statement on nothing, saying it just to see how Et would react, and hoping to get another pair of eyes on Quan in doing so.

Seeing Anik move towards Et again, Timea again followed suit. "I do doubt they have more luck than we do", she said with a small chuckle. As Anik stopped in front of Et, Timea stopped two paces to her side.

Zephy continued to skip her way forward before she gave a little wave to the guard. [color=46e16f] "Hello there. I'm with the group here who assisted in capturing the accomplice to that bald sorcerer. I was wondering if you had any spare skymetal rings for me to practice with." [/color]

The guard looked from Zephy, to Cybil and Robin, then opened the door and retrieved a small ball of sky-metal for Zephy. "Don't take it out of the northern ward."

Day 14 - 11:16

Et didn't not visibly react to Timea, stating, "I have seen that process and I highly doubt it would work on a deity." He then looked down at Anik and said, "I wouldn't if I were you."

Anik took a step back, and asked, very distrustful: "Why? What would happen if I did?"

Zephy gave a quick salute as she held the ball. [color=46e16f] "Understood! Good day!" [/color] While she wanted a ring, a ball would make her look more like a mage, so all was well.

"Possibly not now, but who knows what might happen in the future", Timea stated, briefly cocking her head to the side. "Either way. You mentioned a way that lead into this world? Considering people have been appearing in random locations, I doubt it's like an actual path someone could travel along, yes? Could you elaborate on this?"

"I think you might be harmed if you did." Et said. He was silent as he considered how to answer Timea. "Not a path, no. More like a hole in the ground. You stumble into it, and fall down, coming out of the other side. The 'other side', however, it changes. Sometimes one region, sometimes another. The only exception is the way some of the travelers took. Their way seems more like... well, to stick with the metaphor, like a ladder. They don't tumble through, they take a clear route."

Listening to Et's reply, Timea glanced down to the floor as she thought things over, letting out a small "hmm". A moment after, she looked up again. "Well... Is there a reason why the exit to this "hole" varies so much? And why did so many appear on the same island, in Kaisir, initially?"

Village Church - Day 14 - 11:17

Anik considered the possibility of throwing things on Et, just to hear what would happen to the things. She did reconsider it somehow quickly, however.

Thinking back to what they were talking about, Anik asked: "Why was Calibeth so warlike? If he would come back ... wouldn't this mean war, no matter what would happen?"

She did not really have an interest in how the world traveling felt for Et, after he had said he was not able to make traveling possible.

"No idea whatsoever." Et told Timea. He then told Anik, "Calibeth caused the other deities to split off from me, by forcing himself to split off. Think of it like your heart bursting out of your chest; other parts are going to come out, too. Calibeth himself represents more than just a part of myself that wished to be separate, he is my impulsiveness, foolishness and aggression, and so on. So that, combined with the fact that the other deities didn't want to be separate, let to conflict. So, I don't doubt that it would lead to war."

 

[Silence]

"Huh ..." Anik said. "So I don't have any idea how we could do something about this. Just means that at some point, war will come again ...

Unless ... I had a really stupid idea. What would happen if you would die? Or ... is this even possible?
Related to that, how did you come into existence in the first place? Do you know anything about that?"

At Et's response, Timea let out a "hmm."

Hearing Anik's response, she glanced to Anik curiously, wondering both what went through Anik's mind, and what Et's answers would be. Waiting to hear it, she didn't say anything else.
