Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:13​

Timea listened to Anik explain how she felt on the matter. During this time, most meat on the leg had finished roasting, where upon Timea pulled the leg away from the fire, and bit off small bits of meat, chewing these quietly.

Once Anik finished speaking, Timea thought for a moment longer, then smiled. "Well, there are some points to be raised, but ultimately, none of us feel negatively about this. So, while I don't fully agree with this, we can just agree to disagree, and let it rest.

I do feel fully eating people is something that should be discussed more, since this could cause actual problems between us, in the future. But for now, we've argued enough, haven't we? So let's not get in to that." Saying this, Timea paused, and in a joking tone, added, "pleeease?"

 

[Silence]

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:13

"As long as you don't force me to eat people, there is nothing left to discuss." Anik stated plainly. "So ... let us finished our breakfast."

That said, Anik ate some berries, and continued eating the ribs, which she had laid next to her. She also rocked Hillary a little, wondering if she would like it.

Hillary would indeed enjoy the rocking, soon rocking lightly with Anik too. Her berry form wouldn't last too long though, having both her and Anik eating the berries would exhaust them rather quickly. She would change into Anik's coat material once she'd eaten nearly all the berriness from herself. Hillary would try to bite one of her fingers again, but realizing she'd changed stopped. "Aww, I guess they're all gone..?"

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:14​

At Anik's response, much of the good will Timea felt left her, instead feeling sad. "Excuse me... ? Forcing you? Is that what you think of me?" she asked, audibly dismayed. "Have I not given you freedom to be what you wish to be?"

 

[Silence]

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:14

"Oh. No, Timea, I did not mean it like that. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I didn't think you would force me ... I stated this as a means of telling you that we don't need to discuss more about this.

You have given me all the freedom. I don't think of you this way! Not at all!" Anik immediately responded, slightly panicked. "I just used sarcasm ... which I should not have. I apologize."

Hoping this was all there was to it, Anik got back to rocking Hillary. As she changed, and all the berries were gone, Anik also made a disappointed "Aww." with Hillary. "Well, I guess we have to gather some more berries, later. Maybe we find different ones."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Ya, we definitely should. Lots of real tasty ones!" Hillary mused, putting her hands up to her cheeks and rubbed them. "We can't do that right now though, right? We gotta go do something else first?" Hillary asked the two, not remembering what the current game plan was other than stuffing their faces with berries.

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:15​

Listening to Anik's response, Timea considered if Anik responding as vehemently as she did meant she was lying. At these thoughts, Timea began feeling angry. Catching herself starting to feel this way, she did a short breathing exercise, and considered what reason Anik could have for lying. Unable to think of any, Timea admitted to herself she was swept up in her own feelings, and moved on.

"... Apology accepted", she said, still sounding uneasy, forty seconds after Anik apologized.

Blowing a sigh, she continued eating, answering Hillary after swallowing a bite. "Yes, we have something to do here, Hillary. Remember the person in the church?" she asked, pointing over to the church in the distance. "We are going to talk to him, again, to check some things."

"Oh ya, that guy with the weird books and the church that's all old on the outside and nice on the inside, I remember him." Hillary stated, remembering back to her brief exchange with the god. "You weren't with us that first time Anik, this time maybe you could say hi to him too." She said as she looked up to Anik.

Quan Chi noted the old building, heading there first.

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:15

Anik waited for Timeas response anxiously, sensing her feelings, and not understanding them. She blew a sigh when Timea stated the apology was accepted, and got back to rocking Hillary.

"Yes, we will pick the berries after we have talked to him. I actually have spoken to him previously, as well." Anik said and smiled. "I was just there after you.
Did you say "nice on the inside", though? So it was not old on the inside? Huh ... that's curious. I wonder why that is."

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 10:15​

"I wondered this, too. Possibly, it's because Et keeps the inside in good condition. This could also explain why the locals don't go in to salvage the wood", Timea stated.

Continuing her meal, talking little during it, Timea finished after 70 minutes, having picked all the bones clean, scraped out the marrow, and burying the remains in that time. The food made her feel better, only a little miffed, afterwards.

Announcing she was ready to leave, the party headed to the village, taking 15 minutes to get there.

Village - Day 14 - 11:10​

Arriving in the village, Timea began walking towards the church on the hill, while casting occasional glancing to see how the rest of the village was doing, along the way.

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 11:10

Anik followed Timea, listening to and sensing her surroundings, trying to figure out if there had something changed, other people in the village, or someone in the church.

Village Church - Day 11 - 15:50

Quan Chi would find the building was even more damaged within, with broken floorboards and a smashed in half altar, the top of which was embedded in the floor.

Day 14 - 11:10

Timea would see the village was in much the same state as it had been the last time she visited, with no obvious changes. Anik would sense nobody inside the church.

Quan Chi looked over the old church, musing this probably belonged to that fallen God as he searched for information or magic.

Cybil followed after Zephy, and if necessary would vouch for her with whoever was responsible for keeping charge of the sky-metal.

Zephy, Cybil and Robin would approach a store room, which was being guarded by a soldier.

Quan Chi would find some old books in the back, but no signs of magic.

Village, church - Day 14 - 11:12​

With nothing noteworthy to catch her eye, Timea moved on. Entering the church, Timea moved towards the altar, the wooden floor creaking and cracking under her weight.

Once a the altar, Timea stopped, and turned to her companions. "Okay, we're here. Now, before Anik makes contact, move behind my back and look in that direction, Hillary", she instructed. "Last time I made contact, Et appeared out of nowhere, behind my back. Maybe this way, we'll see how he did that."

Once Hillary moved behind her, and Anik began making contact, Timea scanned the side of the church facing the entrance.

 

[Silence]

Village, church - Day 14 - 11:12

Anik followed Timea, slightly worried that the wooden floor would give out under Timea, but calming herself, thinking that Timea knew what she was doing.

She was about to start to pray, when Timea spoke out. Patiently, she waited for Hillary to get in position, she herself not overly interested in the way Et would show up, as he just appeared out of nowhere last time.

When Hillary was standing still, Anik folded her hands, turning her head down, and started to say: "God Et..., we have come back to ask you a few more questions. Would you please answer this prayer?"
