"The woods. We should be a good distance away from the villages, however. So there shouldn't be much chance of anyone seeing you", Timea answered, slowing down to a normal walking pace. Timea's breathing rate returning to normal quickly, not sounding flushed after this.

"Did you enjoy running like this?"

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:31

"Alright." Anik said, though she wondered: "Why shouldn't anyone see me?"

She walked as well, but kept her hand on Timea's tail. Her breathing rate took a little while longer than Timeas to get completely back to normal. Still, she felt quite relaxed and not much sore after running for not very long.

Anik turned her head towards Timea, smiled and said: "I did enjoy this quite a bit. It feels ... free, even though I'm holding your tail. More free than when I would be running on my own."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:32​

"I'm glad to hear it! I enjoyed it, too. And I'll look forward to seeing if you'll get stronger in this as quickly, too", Timea said cheerily, then paused, not expecting needing to explain why staying out of sight might be a good idea. "As for your question; Well, you're partially undressed. People may disapprove of this, if they saw. It's not that this would be very much inconvenient, but still more of a hassle then I'd like."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:32

"Maybe I could jump even higher, then ..." Anik speculated, happily. "Alright, I guess. People here actually did not seem to care too much to see my body. But I don't know, might be different with the farmers." she answered. "It's still something I just don't understand people's reaction to, but whatever. Guess it's good that we are out of sight, then.

Now ... should we search for some fruits, or what were you planning to do in the woods?"

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:33​

"Look for fruits, yes. And if we're lucky enough that we find a prey while searching, we might catch something extra for me to eat, while we're at it. Although, it would be best not to go out of our way looking for one", Timea explained, walking further in to the woods. While moving, she looked both up to the trees, and down to the bushes, but didn't spot anything yet.

A moment after speaking, Timea let out a small chuckle at a thought that formed in her minds. "You know... , if you do jump much further than you can, already, you may actually end up hurting yourself on landing."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:33

"Alright. Tell me if you see any fruits. Or berries. I think most fruits would not grow in the woods, or am I wrong about this in this part of the world?" Anik asked. She thought about finding an animal for Timea, but even though she was sensing a lot of hearts, she did not know what they were, and none of them seemed to be big enough.

She kept walking, still holding the tail, but now also clicking and holding one hand before her face, to protect it, as she had already swiped some branches in this height.

"I ... don't think so." Anik answered the next thing after thinking for a bit. "If I know from where I start and I can land there, it should pose no problem. I know how to land without hurting myself. Like a cat." she laughed. "But if I were to jump as high from your shoulders ... I might hurt myself, because I don't know the ground then. So, I better not do that."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:33​

"Well, I know there were fruit-bearing trees in woods to the east, on my world. Although that area didn't quite look the same as this", Timea answered, before Anik responded to the second topic. She specifically thought about a jungle, but not knowing that word. "But if nothing else, we'll just do with berries, hmm?"

"Hmm. I suppose if you roll on landing, then you would take the worst out of the impact. But landing in any other way, and it won't go as well, I think.", Timea mused, then snickered. "Ah, but speaking of jumping, you still owe me a show of acrobatics~"

 

[Silence]

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:33

"Hmm ... alright." Anik mused. "Though if you see any fruits while we are running, we could stop there, as well."

"I do roll on landing, if it is quite high." Anik explained to Timea with a cheeky smile. "So ... this shouldn't be a problem.
But acrobatics, I think I could show you a few different ones. Though it's probably best if we do that at the camp, and I wear my first clothes. Unless you want to see some now?"

"Oh, no. It would indeed be best if you would do these, once we're back", Timea responded.

Spotting a blackberry bush, Timea began walking towards it, calling out, "oh, I see some beries close by. I'm heading towards it, now."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:34

Anik followed Timea, clicking and finding the bush with this, too. She deactivated the fire-blanket, then carefully reached to the bush, remembering the thorns from last time. Still, she was poked but some thorns, and frowned, taking her hand back.

"Why does it always have to be thorns ..." she moaned, then shrugged. "Guess I'll still try to find some berries." With that, she felt for berries, even more careful than before.

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:34​

Stopping near the bush, Timea reverted to her default form, once Anik let go of her tail. "I'll give you a hand." Moving to the other side of the bush Anik was on, Timea began picking berries, as well, not caring for the thorns, which harmlessly slid over her skin.

"You mentioned checking for fruits further south? We could do this. I did see some trees on the way here, but I couldn't see if they had any fruits on them, due to the structure of the trees. Oh, another thing. Since we almost know for certain we can move around safely again, we can rest further away from the cities. This means I can turn myself into something large while eating, so you won't have to wait as long for me to finish, in the future."

 

[Silence]

"Thanks." Anik said, while she was very slow in picking berries. She listened to Timea, then answered, happy: "The structure of the trees? How do they look?" Anik asked, not knowing how fruits might not be visible. "But, that's nice. I ... might want to feel your forms then. Still, I like it, it is kinda long waiting, sometimes..."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:35​

"I know, I know~", Timea responded cheerily, in regards to Anik saying the wait was long. "But I'd rather you don't examine my shape while I'm eating. It wouldn't be anything I haven't taken the form of, anyway. It would simply be bigger.

Either way, most of the trees in areas like the fields have long branches, that bend and hang down, with a great many leaves growing out of them. Or, smaller trees with a winding trunks and branches, with more rigid leaves. Closer to the desert, there would be more like the former. ... It's a little difficult to explain. You'll have to experience it for yourself. It shouldn't be too difficult for you to climb in to the larger ones."

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:35

"Alright." Anik said. "I won't climb on you while you are eating, anyways. And I won't do it as well, if you don't like to. It would be fun though, climbing on giant Timea!" she laughed.

"The trees, though ... they certainly don't sound like the ones I know. I think ... . But I guess I will be able to experience them myself, you are right. Winding trunks ... huh. I think someone told about such trees, but I never felt one. It makes me wonder how much else I am missing ..." she shook her head, then chuckled. "Maybe it's for the best. It is so many new things already..."

She put two blackberries in her mouth and tasted them, liking it quite a bit. Though she had, at this point, only gotten around ten, while Timea might already have plucked much more.

After about an 18 hour journey, Yeager and Co arrived at the gates of Vala. Yeager approached the guards, saying "Greetings once again, I heard there vas an attack of some sort?"

"Yes, there was, just the other day. As far as I'm aware, the perpetrator is still in the cells in the northern ward." the guard replied, as the gates opened up for Yeager.

"Well, I wouldn't mind it, just not when I'm eating. So long as you don't do it unexpectedly, of course.

Either way, there have been many unusual things in our journey, yes. I personally never expected to see snow, in person", Timea commented, then, speaking with a lowered voice for comedic effect, jokingly added, "... I didn't like it!"

Having plucked a literal handful of berried, Timea hummed to herself, then moved back to Anik's side. "Now, I've gotten a good amount of berried, here. And this bush is starting to look a bit bare. So, shall we head to another for more, or shall we head back southwards?"

One of the guards inside the city nodded, and escorted Yeager to the northern ward. Once in there, he led Yeager to the central building, and up to Maribeth's office.
