Vala Area - Day 15 - 16:04​

"Things have changed ever so much. We've gotten closer than I'd ever expect to get to anyone." Saying this, Timea was quiet for a moment, but kept on nuzzling. Eventually, she slowed down doing this, until she stopped, then letting out a small, soft chuckle.

"Look at us, now. We're acting like we're going our separate ways right this instant. But, no. You haven't decided on where to go yet, and I'll be staying for as long as you will. We've gone on this journey together, we shall also end it together."

 

[Silence]

Vala Area - Day 15 - 16:04

Anik kept on rubbing her head against Timeas, enjoying this ever so much, though slightly wondering why Timea kept it this long, thins time.

"You are right." she chuckled. "It's ... great, that you want to stay with me as long as I will. I love it. Thank you." Another tear ran down her cheek. "We shall end it together."

After, she shook her head slightly, to get more serious again. "All these feelings ..." she said, with another chuckle. "I did not know I had so many in me."

Camp, day 11
The spearman was hit as the fire mage prepared and threw another ball of flame.

Vala, day 12
Robin nodded. "Thanks Speedy."

Mountain Camp - Day 11
You turn to face the sorcerer, approaching him cautiously. You want to avoid being burned again if you can, and so you stay ready to dodge sideways as you close the distance. On top of that, the battle has taken its toll. You already feel more sluggish, and you've got a deep desire to simply lie down.

Vala, Day 12

Jantra had half fallen asleep as he sat against a building, and only just noticed Robin and Speedy talking. He pushed himself to his feet and approached them, yawning as he got close. "Whas going on?"

Vala Area - Day 15 - 16:05​

"You say this like this is a bad thing", Timea commented in turn, more happily.

She moved back to her meal, sitting back down there. "Now, I should finish my meal. Once I've done so, we can head north to look for fruits." With this said, Timea continued eating, mostly in silence. During it, she felt happier than she did before.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:00​

After some two hours, Timea finished eating, and buried the bones. After, she stood up, and washed her hands, this time, more thoroughly. "Okay, I'm ready to head out, now. Hillary can stay and wait here, to receive Cybil, in case she comes back early", Timea said, moving to the blanket, and picking it up.

 

[Silence]

Vala - Day 12 - 1:34

Speedy, not wanting to explain again, looked to Robin, signaling he should explain. Though he said to Jantra: "I have found the enemies base."

Vala Area - Day 15 - 16:05

Anik did wash her face while waiting, otherwise hugged Hillary, and talked with her.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:00

"Alright." Anik said. She got up, then felt along her coat. "Hmm ..." she said. "I would like to not wear this coat while running, but it is also quite cold. But you need the blanket. Do you think I can get hot enough so that it does not matter? Or should I run with the coat on?"

Vala, Day 12, 1:34

Jantra rubbed his eyes. "I'm not so sure I want to go risking my life again... Can we at least sleep first?"

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:00​

"I was going to suggest you wear the blanket, actually", Timea responded, letting out a small laugh, then turning the fire off. "I'd need to cover it beneath my skin so it doesn't burn you, but doing this while moving fast will make me itchy."

Stepping over to Anik, Timea held the blanket out towards her. "So there you have it. I'm holding the blanket in front of you, now. I suggest tying it around your waist."

 

[Silence]

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:00

"Alright." Anik repeated. She took of her coat quite fast, then the qipao as well, as she was wearing it underneath, and it would maybe interfere with the running movement a little bit. She then felt for the blankt before her, and tied it around her body, then activated the fire.

"I ... think I'm ready." she announced.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:05​

"Okay. First, let's go a little further away. I don't want to switch forms so close to the city, and have someone find the tracks while we're going", Timea commented, while beginning to move away with a slow jogging pace.

She did this until she and Anik moved for five minutes, then stopped. "This should do." She then turned into her lioness form. "Oh, and you should give me the bag. It would uncomfortable for you to carry when running, but it would also make it hard to get much fruits back, without it."
Once Anik had given the bag, Timea secured it against her side with a leathery strap.

"Touch incoming", she announced, not having the hand structure to snap her fingers, and not bothering to change to facilitate this. After, Timea moved her tail to Anik, and used the tip to lightly tickle her arm, for a short moment.

 

[Silence]

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:05

Anik followed Timea, having to tie the blanket tighter at some point, but otherwise having no problem with the pace, and clicking.

Expecting a touch, Anik still giggled when the lion tail tickler her arm. She felt for it, then held it with one hand, after finding a more or less comfortable position. She then slightly bent her knees, so she could start to run.

"I'm ready!" she said, mindful of where difficulties for her could ariese. "But remember to announce obstacles, even though I am holding your tail. And if we the ground changes somewhere, like we cross a road, or we switch from earth to sand, it would be nice if you also announced that."

Vala Area - Day 16 - 2:11

Cybil placed in Anik's hand a small object, roughly in the shape of a sphere with a diameter of one inch. The object's surface consisted of flat edges, numerous enough to give it its shape. It felt solid, and slightly warm to the touch.

Were Timea to look at the object, she may be able to recognize it as a small, cloudy, copper-colored crystal.

[color=9f2089]"When you want to contact me, cup it in your hands, hold it up to your mouth, and whisper into it the message you want me to hear."[/color] Cybil explained. [color=9f2089]"Only use it when you're serious though. It can only be used a few times before it stops functioning."[/color]

Vala, day 12, 1:34
"Speedy went to the camp of that sorcerer, Quan Chi. He found his materials and spells. We can move against it and capture it." Robin thought for a second as Jantra mentioned sleep. "I'm not in the best shape either, but there isn't a lot of time if Shara is fighting there."

Camp, day 11
Shara managed to dodge the mage's fireball. Instead of another projectile, the mage created a wall of flame around himself to stop her approach. The swordsman from earlier, badly burned but still active, stood back up and charged towards her to slash her belly as the spearman brought up the rear and the archer spammed arrows at her torso.

Vala, Day 12, 1:34

Jantra sighed, raising his hand to his brow in frustration. "I just got here. I'm no fighter. I barely even know you people, yet I've already killed for you."

 

[Silence]

Vala - Day 12 - 1:34

"I don't know if Shara would not be defeated before we would even start moving." Speedy said to Robin. "I ... guess we could rest, and you could look at the camp with a little bit more quiet. As long as Quan Chi is in prison, no one else should be able to get there."

He then looked to Jantra: "I'm sorry. We did not know that the guy would just show up again when you showed up. I don't think you need to move to the camp, though there is not much to do here.
In the books, there were some things about Quan Chi's teleportation, though. I did not understand much, but I think he can also move out of this world. This could help to get you meet with your friend, again."

Vala Area - Day 16 - 2:11

"I'll keep it in mind. I will probably only use it when we want to contact you, to get off this world." Anik said. "Thank you." she smiled, then put the object in a pocket of her coat, carefully. "Now, you have done everything I asked you to do. Maybe ... I can ask you different things as well, when I try to move worlds. Like the reading thing for the blind ... anyways, now would be your chance to ask me more things, if you want. Or you leave that until I come to your world and do this interview, as well."

"More than a friend..." Jantra corrected, then let out a low, frustrated growl. "Fine. I'm ready to go whenever you two are."

Robin gave it some thought, realising he was being emotional. "You're right. We should rest." He looked to Jantra. "Sorry you got caught up in all this..."

Jantra sighed again, trying to calm himself. "Unless you brought me here, don't apologize." He told Robin. "Is there any place with a bed around here? I don't have any money to stay at an inn..."

Mountain Camp - Day 11
You come up to the fire-wall, but you hesitate and stop. Just as you summon the courage to push forward, the swordsman charges you again. [color=0066cc]Poor bastard... I better put him out of his misery.[/color]

You prepare to break his charge but in that moment an arrow pierces your side, going neatly between two ribs and embedding itself in your lung. You stagger, at a loss for air as the swordsman attacks. You're able step back out of the attack's arc, but only partially. A long gash in the left side of your belly shows your failure as another arrow flies by, narrowly missing. You leap forward, swinging diagonally against his left shoulder but in the last moment twisting the blade so it strikes into the right side of his torso.

A third arrow hits in your upper thigh and you stagger back. After turning to face the archer, you spot the spearman hanging back. [color=0066cc]Damn, he's not dea-[/color] A forth arrow goes into your shoulder, making you recoil. Out of breath and unable to move, you can only watch as the fifth arrow strikes into your gut. You would have gasped, if there was any air left in your lungs. Instead you just stand there. You suddenly wonder why you are not more at peace with death, if you are afraid or if you've held out hope for this long. Still, as you look around the battlefield and see the dead and dying men, you feel somewhat more satisfied. [color=0066cc]Can I take one more with me? Or even two?[/color]
