The spearman approached, keeping Shara at length. "Restrain her. Heal her up. We have work that needs to be done." Said the mage.

You stay upright, clenching the sword tightly. [color=0066cc][small]"Why not... just... kill me?"[/small][/color] - You manage to get out in between your shallow breaths.

Vala - Day 12 - 1:34

"But Shara is there. And I think only Robin can save her, and only there. And there is much knowledge there.
But I think someone should stay and keep an eye on Quan Chi. So ... I think you could take that role.

Anyways, Quan Chi said to Shara that she should start killing everyone. So ... his minion Shara could threaten more than just his own camp. If she somehow survives ..." Speedy replied to Cybil and speculated.

He was still in Robins hands and would therefore be carried to wherever Robin was going.

"Sure, I understand." Anik replied. "I kind of would want to lie in a bed again, as well, but I have ... issues.

Anyways, thank you for everything. And goodbye." Not sure what gesture she should use for the goodbye, she made the motion to hug, again.

[color=9f2089]"Yeah, because she's totally going to to survive a fight with about a dozen armed and experienced soldiers, then climb down a mountain, and still be in perfect shape to start killing other people, also protected by armed soldiers."[/color] Cybil sarcastically replied to Speedy.

Cybil shrugged to herself and hugged Anik again. [color=9f2089]"We'll probably see each other again before too long."[/color]

Robin turned to Cybil. "She's valuable. Killing her isn't a good idea." He looked to Jantra. "Sure. Come on."

Camp, day 11
"You're valuable. Killing you isn't a good idea." What few mercs remained searched for medical supplies.

"She was fighting ... extremely good." Speedy said. "But I guess you are right about her.
The books are still very valuable, though. So don't call me an idiot. I'm a genius!"

"So we probably do. Well, you do. I don't. But I know what you were saying." Anik chuckled. She only kept a short hug, then let go again, and waited for Cybil to vanish again.

Cybil also snickered as she realized what she had said. [color=9f2089]"I'll see ya later."[/color] She said as she walked off back towards Vala.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:05​

"Duly noted. It's will still be just desert for a while, but I'll be sure to mention when it changes. Now, without further ado. Ready, set... ", Timea began, bending through the knees of her front legs. "Go!"

Timea then began running. She started slowly, but over the course of five minutes, gradually picked up speed, until she ran at about 12 km/h.

"Let's keep at this pace, for now, to get your blood flowing nicely."

Calibethan Empire - Day 16 - 2:20-2:30

A couple of hours after the stars set, on the 16th day after the sun had vanished, the ground began to tremble in the Calibethan Empire. The epicentre of the earthquake was the ruins of the former capital city, though it would be felt even in the mountains of the north. Anyone near the ruins would see the crater fill with blue fire over the course of ten minutes. Then, the flames would erupt up into the sky, a shining beacon that would be seen around the world, forming a ball of fire high in the sky.

As soon as the sun had risen again, the spires of every temple of Calibeth ignited, illuminating and warming the cities. The pools of water in Kaisiri sun temples began emitting light again. The sunlight over the island of Vesh faded to nothingness after a few minutes, though before that point everyone on the world was staring into the sky in shock, joy, and horror.

Within the ruined cave below Calibeth City, a man slowly rose to his feet and looked around.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:05

Anik followed Timea easily, being able to keep up without a problem, and not worrying about running against something, also feeling quite free in her movement.

After five minutes, Anik had not even began to sweat. "Alright. Although ... you could increase the speed slightly. I barely even feel that we are running." she answered Timea.

Vala Area - Day 16 - 2:30

Having gone back to her fire, Anik was quite heavily shaken by the earthquake. She was quite afraid, but not knowing what was happening and how to protect herself, she hugged her knees and waited until it was over.

Sighing to herself after it was done, she at first did not realize that the sun would rise, not being able to notice anything but the rise in temperature.

Only after a little bit of time, she felt heat on her back, and her whole body. Bringing one hand into the air, after realizing that her campfire had vanished, she noticed what had happened.

Smiling a little bit to herself, despite some fear about what would happen with the world next, she took off her coat, her scarf, her boots, and her winter trousers, then stretched herself, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her skin.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:10​

"That's because we've only just started", Timea responded. With faster breathing, her voice sounded more laboured, but only by a small degree. "Although, with your stamina, we'd probably have to be running the entire day for it to do something for you. Hmm. Well, let's speed up, then!"

Timea then sped up more, to some 25 km\h. Although still gradually, it was quicker than before, speeding up over the coarse of 2 minutes.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:10

Anik still had no problems speeding up, enjoying this running quite a lot. With this speed, however, she began to get hot, and a little sweat was glistening on her forehead, though not too much.

She did not talk much while running, mainly concentrating herself on her steps, while keeping her head down.

After about 7 minutes of running, she kept the speed, but called out, slightly panting: "I think I have warmed up, now."

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:19​

Over the course of the seven minutes, Timea kept up the pace, mostly heading in a straight line, with the exception of when there was an obstacle in the way, when she lead Anik around it after mentioning it.

"Okay. Then let's. Start with the real thing~!" With this said, Timea sped up to 40 km\h, and kept this pace.

After a short while of this, the two neared the edge of the desert, where it crossed over into plains. "Terrain shift incoming. Dirt and grass", she announced, breathing quite a bit more heavily, but not struggling any.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 18:19

Keeping the same pace as Timea was holding was demanding of Anik, though she still kept up, easily. Thinking however that this would be enough to strengthen her legs, if kept up for one or two hours, she was satisfied with the speed, and did say nothing.

When switching terrains, she just nodded, not too much realizing if Timea could see it or not, and prepared herself to do slightly heavier steps, to not slip on the grass, and because it would be easier to run on the dirt.

Feeling secure because of the connection with Timea, she never did slow down, instead breathing regularily and heavily. And even though she was now sweating, mainly on her upper arms and under her hair, on the neck, she did not feel bad. Instead her head felt even lighter when the adrenaline kicked in.

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:31​

During the run, Timea cast an occasional sideways glance to Anik, checking to see how she was doing, and if she needed to adjust the speed, never finding this was the case. Whenever there was an obstacle or change in elevation in the path, Timea notified Anik of this in advance, leading her the larger obstacles Anik wasn't able to go over.

After twelve more minutes of running at the high speeds, the duo drew close to the woodlands, although not near any of the villages. "Getting close. Slowing down", Timea called out, slowing down fairly quickly after this.

Central Woodlands - Day 15 - 18:31

Anik let herself be led by the slowing down of Timea, breathing in and out deeply while doing so, until she had caught enough breath to speak again.

"Close to where?" she asked.
