Ella noticed that White seemed to be getting tired, and pressed her advantage. She fired a bolt at White, then quickly switched to the stun setting and fired again a couple of seconds later. Doing so was uncomfortable, though, as the blaster was heating up tremendously.

The other 3 back in formation and with Candace in the fight Dalahar bellows and rushes them,hoping to break them apart and give Candace some breathing room.

Hearing the commotion, Viyang looked out of the window of her room and spotted the soldiers and angels attacking the hotel. Seeing the winged humanoids startled her a little, though she shrugged it off quickly and opened the window. As she jumped down to the ground, she summoned her spear into her left hand. [color=663399]"What is going on?"[/color] she asked.

Montreal: ED Shelter, second floor​

"Okay, now... , now take a look outside. Don't stand directly in front of the window, stay close to the wall"

, Kuki suggested.

"If you can't jump outside, maybe you can climb? Is there something like a ledge?"

The three soldier split up again, to let Dalahar rush through, then immediately got back together, to block Candace's path.

The angel cast something, causing the soldier Candace had cut down to rise again behind her.

White protected herself against Ella's first shot, but did not expect the second one. While it wasn't as strong, and a protective aura was still around White, it cause her to be pushed backwards, nearly hitting a building before being able find her balance again.

As expected they had parted and reformed as before. This time he has dropped a frag grenade as he charged past and now the soldiers were clustered around it in optimal kill range. He carried his momentum to Candace, putting himself in between her and the explosion that was about to happen. "Brace yourself" he grunted

 

[Slenn]

"Could you tell me what you intend to do if we get outside?" She peered out the window to see how high they were.

 

[Chungus]

Montreal: ED Shelter, second floor​

"I don't really have any plan. Ideally, we can just stay in here until this thing blows over. But if worst comes to worst, I've got nothing more than "make a run for it""

, Kuki answering, moving about left to right on the bad uneasily.

"I'm not cut out for this... ."

 

[Slenn]

Shana peered outside.

"You know, I feel that way sometimes. But, hey, maybe if we learn how to defend ourselves, we'd feel a lot safer. But I can at least try to use the knife if necessary." She inspected the knife now that she had a moment. "What's this button do?" She tapped the button on the bottom and watched it glow. "Woah." She exclaimed as she turned it off. "I don't know what exactly that did, but I assume that means the knife gets more powerful."

Candace noticed the soldier rising behind her, turning with her sword outstretched to cut along his chest.

Seeing the grenade, one of the soldiers jumped on it, catching most of the blast, and disintegrating.

The other two were pushed to the sides by the blast, but managed to stay conscious for now.

The soldier Candace was trying to cut raised his shield, to block Candace's slash.

Montreal: ED Shelter, second floor​

Being on the second floor, Shana would see she was quite high up. There was a ledge that ran along the windows, and got close to a drainpipe at the end of the building. It was questionable if this would hold Shana's weight, however.

Kuki said nothing in response to Shana's first comment, but jumped at Shana's reaction to the dagger lighting up, settling down more a moment afterwards.

"Let's hope it won't come a point where you have to use it"

, they said, sitting down.

"What are things like, down there?"

The block was successful, as Candace couldn't put her full power behind the swing, and her sword went bouncing off. However, this did bring her mother hand into position, and she took a hurried shot with her pistol.

"It seems so. I wanted to try and have them talk first, but now..."

 

[Slenn]

She took a more meticulous glance down at the ground far away.
"They seem to be evenly matched but they are taking a lot of punishment."

 

[Silence]

The soldier Candace shot at was hit in the shoulder. He dropped his shield.

"I ... I did a lot of things I regret now. I would take punishment, just ... I don't want to get back to that world, no matter what happens otherwise.
I'd rather have you punish me here.

If I got back, I ... I think I could fall back to killing. I don't want that!" Anik said to Lambda and Nina.

 

[Vakra jal]

Damn. He had hoped the frag grenade would kill them all. He had only 2 left now. Judging by how hard it was to kill these despite their appearance Dalahar reluctantly Drew and armed his Volkite charger, hoping it could put them down fast. He couldn't afford to waste his limited resources.

With one eye on Candace so that he could assist her of needed, he brought the Volkite charger up to his hip and opened fire on one of the two disorientated soldier. With a loud crack the ancient Ray weapon discharged its archaic super heated beam. The replication of which long since lost. He aimed for centre of mass where a blast from a volkite weapon had more of a chance to violently deflagrate its target. He readied himself to fire again rapidly should the soldier survive.

"Viyang!" He called before shooting "they are trying to take one of us" he explained before firing.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"We won't let them take you." Lambda assured Anik.

Candace saw the opening, and stabbed at the man's heart.

 

[Silence]

The soldier Dalahar shot at raised his shield, blocking the blast. His shield, however, disintegrated and he was push back a few feet.
He ducked immediately.

Candace got the soldier in the heart, causing him to fall down again.

While White was busy finding her position again, the angel chanted another song. The soldier Dalahar had grabbed and used as a weapon before slowly began to reform and raise up again.

The last soldier tried to scramble behind the corner of a house, to cover himself.

"... thank you." Anik said slowly.

 

[Vakra jal]

"This is pointless" he cursed as his follow up shots missed, scorching the ground and melting a shallow distance into the ground. He adjust the aim and fired a burst at the now un shielded soldier. He noticed the soldier he thought finished begin to stir. "Some power holds the peons. No mortal could survive that. I hope Ella is making progress with the leader"
He had an idea but needed Candace free, the entropy from the swords and spear threatening to over power him due to the pain they caused his Daemonic half
