Viyang paused for a moment, then turned around and marched into the hotel, summoning her spear as she went. The barrier she had created flickered and faded completely the further Viyang got from it. As she walked, Viyang kept her eyes out for Anik.

"There are flying ones? I didn't know that... . That would make going outside a lot riskier"

"I wonder why the authorities haven't shown up by now, though? I would've thought something like this gets a quicker response."

Anik was near the lobby, in cover, under the front desk, together with Lambda.

Ella glanced over her shoulder at Viyang, then looked back up at White. "More of us are coming. You will not win this fight."

Viyang, upon finding Anik, would grab her by the scruff of the neck and pull her over the desk. [color=663399]"You have some explaining to do."[/color] she stated, attempting to drag Anik outside.

"I do not need to win this fight." White called to Ella. "I just need her, for now."

Lambda, hearing the fighting die down a bit, stood. "I'm sure we can negotiate something." she called to Ms White.

"Over my dead body. You'll be arrested, as soon as I can get a pair of handcuffs on you." - Ella spat out, as she slowly backed towards the hotel entrance.

Anik was pulled over the desk, without much resistance, but protesting. "No. I can't go back. Please." she said.

White dove down, targeting her spear on Ella. "Your choice." she called. "Others are willing to negotiate, so I only need to take you out."

"Either I get executed, or worse. He might still be in control and ... use me. Make me kill again. I don't want that. Please. I'm a monster, but I tried to get better. It will be for nothing, if I have to go back." Anik pleaded with Viyang.

Ella stopped and aimed at White, firing a stun bolt at her. Suddenly she realised that this might be it for her. But it was too late to do anything about it, and Ella was not sure if she'd even change anything.

[color=663399]"Nina is right. You're putting lives in danger, and if you committed the crimes you're accused of, you still have to face justice."[/color] Viyang stated. She dragged Anik outside and pushed her towards White.

Lambda rushed outside, standing in front of Anik, just in time to see Ella shoot. "No!"

"Lambda, please! You promised!" Anik called to Lambda.

The white energy around white took all of Ella's stun bolt, and White managed to get through, piercing through Ella's heart.
But no blood was flowing. White took the spear out, no sign of damage on it. "She is incapacitated." White explained. "She will wake in a few minutes."
She then nodded towards Viyang. "I thank you."

Lambda scanned Ella, making sure she was unharmed, then heaved a sigh of relief. She looked to White. "Anik is willing to pay for her crimes. But as her counselor, I insist that she stays in this world. It seems crucial to her health, and if what she says about being forced to kill by someone in that realm is true, you could avoid more deaths."

 

[Vakra jal]

Dalahar did a double take after Ella was struck. "Bastard!" He roared and raised his Volkite charger, rage and fury dragging him to his feet. He saw alof of his own troubles in Anik and wasn't prepared to let her give in to White. He didn't want to lose. He couldn't, he needed the fight to occupy his thoughts

"What is this nonsense?" White said to Lambda. "She tries to manipulate you. Emperor Krovis will make sure she will be punished, accordingly, how could she kill more after that?"

Anik went completely pale, and wound around, but did not want to bring any harm, so did not use her full strength against Viyang. "No ..." she whispered.

White glanced to Dalahar. "Do not think what you are doing will stay unnoticed."
