Fernand bought Fish and Chips, and handed them over to Candace, then got himself some as well.
He offered it to Nina as well.

Blue just observed Ella and Dalahar further. Kuki was not able to get any information from the critter.

Ile Bizard, Montreal. Afternoon. March 3rd.​

"I'm... not sure, really"

, Kuki admitted.

"Try asking at a place where they sell other kinds of creams. If nothing else, they'd probably know where to get some."

Port exterior, Pointe-Saint Charles, Montreal. Late morning. March 4th.​

"My eyes are fine"

, Kuki said to Lambda. On seeing the critter was inorganic, Kuki realised that what they were seeing and sensing wasn't there, and returned their eyes to their normal state.

Without knowing what was the norm for how their eyes should function, Lambda couldn't determine whether they suffered a defect or not. She would, however, detect the change in them, as she specialised lenses became inactive.

"But... something is messing with my senses."

 

[Kirke]

Ella glanced at Blue, but walked past her and up to the entrance of the Portal Station. Looking over at the guard, she said; "I'm heading inside. I've got a message to deliver from XPOL."

"Well, I wont deny that. That armour looks mighty impressive, but I wouldn't want to storm a building in it." - The lieutenant replied, adding; "And we do take pride in putting a quick stop to any dangerous situation. It's a shame it ended in bloodshed though."

Candace looked at the fish and chips quizzically. "Isn't this Saxom common food? What's it doing here?"

"You are correct... I think. I have no point of comparison."

Nina shook her head and declined the food she was offered. [color=ff9966]"No thank you. I'm not hungry."[/color]

"Fair enough." Fernand said, not really surprised about Nina. He answered Candace: "It's british food, but there was a lot of international trade happening in the last few hundred years. So that's why you can buy it here as well. It's not that difficult to make."

Realizing Kuki had finally found out what was happening to him, Blue closed her hands, and the critter vanished for Kuki.

Kuki asked Fernand.

"It honestly doesn't look like it."

"I'm telling you, something is messing with me"

, Kuki said to Lambda, feeling dismayed, although not quite as distraught as they were before.

While they weren't suspecting Blue of making them see things, initially, noticing the illusion disappear the moment she closed her hands, Kuki glared at her.

"... What do you think you're doing?"

they asked, now starting to feel angry.

"Makes sense. This "British" sounds nice." Candace looked to Nina. "Did you eat earlier?"

March 4th
"I believe you." Lambda told Kuki.

 

[Kirke]

"Thank you." - Ella said to the guard as she stepped inside. She looked around as she headed towards the portal room, as she figured that'd be the most likely place to find who she was looking for.

"We think it's pretty good." Yauna said to Kuki, as she bit a chip. Due to the hole in her torso meaning she lacked a stomach, Kuki might wonder where the food went.

"It is." Fernand confirmed, then started to eat his fish and chips in silence.

"I think and then it happens, I don't do. What do you think you're doing?" Blue asked Kuki.

Ile Bizard, Montreal. Afternoon. March 3rd.​

Looking to Yauna as she spoke, and seeing her eat, Kuki, indeed, wondered where the food ended up.

"I'll have to take your word for it, for now"

, Kuki said, then paused. They considering having another look at Yauna's insides to try and track the food, but realising it wouldn't reach the spot where a stomach would be for a while, didn't bother. Instead, they decided to ask about it.

"By the way, miss? I've noticed you seem to be... missing a part of your abdomen. How has this not killed you?"

"... Aren't we clever"

, Kuki said, bemused, looking at Blue with a scowl, and narrowed eyes. They didn't respond to anything further Blue said.

Then, looking away, they instead looked back to the guard.

"Can I press charges for this?"

Nina nodded to Candace. [color=ff9966]"I ate last night."[/color]

"Oh, that's kind of a long story. But the basic answer is I made a pact with an infernal being to stop that wound killing me. He fulfilled that end of the bargain, and I will never die because of the hole in my body. But he didn't heal it, because 'I never asked for that'." Yauna replied, saying the last part in a mocking voice.

"Press charges for what?" the guard asked.

"And that's enough for you?" Candace questioned.

 

[Kirke]

Not finding anyone inside, and unwilling to go through the portal, Ella walked back outside and headed towards Blue. "Excuse me, are you the extradimensional representative?"

"But... how? How did he prevent you from dying, without fixing the damage?"

Kuki asked, confused.

"Specifically, how do you not starve, without a stomach to digest food?"

, Kuki answered, not having much hope of success, but wanting to try, regardless.
