Kuki continued their work, taking the samples, soon finishing. The tendril's light faded out, and retracted back into the pectoral fold.

"Well, that's all I had. Thanks for your time!"

Kuki said happily, then looked to Fernand.

"Ready to move on! Where to, next?"

Ella nodded to the officer; "Good plan. They wont like me showing up with a bunch of extradimensionals, but that frankly seems almost like a plus." With that, she took out her phone and found the address of the local Earth First group, then set her GPS to find the closest route. She looked back up at Dalahar and said; "Let's go, then."

"Try not to start an incident with them. The last thing we need is them having an excuse to stir up trouble." the officer stated.

- Biodome -​

"Alright." Anik said, and took Fernands arm again. He said: "Next is the Gulf of St. Lawrence, that's a shore-area."

He led them further. The area consisted of cliffs, a saltwater marsh and a large basin with water view, inside a tunnel. Anik was not too fond of it, as the water view gave her nothing. Kuki would sea a lot of fish, sea stars and other sea life, as well as mostly different birds above ground. Fernand described every species to Anik.

She just said: "I wish they would let me swim in there. This way, it does even mostly smell of human, not of sea, in the tunnel.
Meh."

 

[Kirke]

Ella nodded and promised that she'd not piss them off. She then went around and told Candace, Nina and Shana that it was time to go again, if they wanted to continue investigating.

 

[Chungus]

Montreal, Biodome. March 2nd.​

Entering the new zone, Kuki's eyes widened again, impressed by the sight.

"Wow... we're underwater, now? All of this must have taken a long time to put together! And what a variety of creatures!"

Kuki said, as excitedly as they could sound through the barely-changing voice. They looked around, trying to analyse the fish, but unable to do so through the glass. They had to settle on looking with regular vision.

"You... really hate people, don't you, Anik?"

they asked as Anik complained.

"So? You don't have to act your age. When I was ten I was already a hunter of note." Candace told Nina proudly.

- Biodome -​

"Umm ..." Anik said and was quiet for a bit, "No, not really, not anymore. I'm just sad about most. And they have far too strong smells here in the city. I mean that really, not just as a manner of speech.

So I just can't enjoy this part of the show. But nevermind that, next one it is!"

She smiled again, although sadly, when Fernand led them to the last area, which was a combination of arctic and antarctic. It was pretty small overall, just one plateau to look around.

"Phew, that's cold. But ... it reminds me of something good." Anik stated. Fernand began describing the different animals, which let Anik laugh, as there were mostly just different kind of penguins. She heard them wandering around, as well.
"Never would have guessed that birds like this cold." she stated. "But brr, that's even colder than outside, here!"

[color=ff9966]"Of what? Like, deer and stuff?"[/color] Nina replied, then started following after Shana.

Hearing Anik's answer, Kuki thought Anik was very strange, and half began wondering if the behaviour she exhibited was normal for whatever the species was she considered herself a part of.

"Uhh... , okay"

, was their only response.

When the three entered the polar region, Kuki tucked their legs in closer, now glad they didn't shed their coat.

"I just think it's strange to see that these birds are so varied! They've been in every climate we've been in, except the underwater tunnel"

, Kuki chimed in, beginning to analyse the birds' physiology, now that there wasn't glass to block the sense.

"I wonder how long they took to get to where they are. It must've taken ages!"

"Deer, wolves, the occasional fox."

"A lot more than ages, I bet." Anik chuckled. "I mean, they probably came out of the water, developed wings, and then walked back into the water, and lost their ability to fly.

I wonder what motivated them to do that."

Fernand led them outside, after Anik had tucked his arm. He mentioned: "We could go into the park now, it's very big. Good for talking, even though it's pretty cold right now. But it's the closest thing to nature inside this city."[/color]

"Good to be on the move" he smiled beneath his helmet as he set off with everyone

"Isn't an age just a way to say "really long time", though?"

Kuki questioned.

"Oh, well. It's not really important."

With the tour over, and the three moving outside, Kuki shook their body a little.

"Well, that was very interesting! Definitely worth the time. I wonder how the others are doing, though?"

Kuki was quiet for a moment, silently musing, until Fernand spoke.

"Works for me. We can discuss where to head next, there!"

"They probably haven't found out anything, yet, just like we thought." Anik stated, "otherwise Ella would have called."

Fernand led them into the park and botanical garden area, which had mostly snow in it, this time of year, and was pretty empty. Anik sighed happily, feeling more free here than anywhere else in the city.
