Seeing the fight was over, Nina walked back towards Ed and the others, waving back and saying, [color=ff9966]"Bye Jean!"[/color] to the guard she had been left with. [color=ff9966]"Hello Fridge-Man! Hello other weirdo!"[/color] She called to Dalahar and the new arrival.
"Fridge man? Call me Dalahar Tresh." He inclined his head. "More people keep popping up." He

She chuckled. "It's pretty, I'll give it that. But what else can it do?"
Suddenly, food! The waitress came by with a platter.
"Here you all are. The steaks..." She handed Anik and Shana their 8 oz medium rare steak with chips. Anik's soup was soon given afterwards.
"The burgers..." She handed Viyang and Candace their burgers with chips. They had lettuce, red onions, tomatoes and pickles on the side in case they wanted to add them.
"And your dish as well." She said to Gash, giving her what she ordered. "Just let me know when you're ready for the check."

"Here you all are. The steaks..." She handed Anik and Shana their 8 oz medium rare steak with chips. Anik's soup was soon given afterwards.
"The burgers..." She handed Viyang and Candace their burgers with chips. They had lettuce, red onions, tomatoes and pickles on the side in case they wanted to add them.

"Maybe I can show you later. For starters ... I never need to be thirsty." Anik answered Shana before the food was brought.
Accepting it, Anik smelled it, leaned back and said, happily. "Forgive me, Timea, sometimes I just need this. I am still part stupid human after all."
That done, she felt around the plate, to know where what food was, then started to eat with her hands, and without manners. (Maybe she should have gotten a burger)
Except the soup. The soup she ate with the spoon, using it in a manner very familiar to how Candace would eat soup, high-society-style.

"Miss Lambda? I am agent Ella Beckers from UN-ECPO. I'm here to talk to you about the recent anomaly." She spoke with a slightly French accent and had a short rifle with an unusually large barrel hanging from her hip, with a sword sheathed on her back. Something akin to a bar-code had been tattooed on her left underarm.

Candace looked to her burger, then to the steaks the others ordered, and decided that she had made a mistake. But it was paid for now, so she took off her gloves, grabbed her silverware and started cutting into the burger.
Lambda looked up to the soldier. "Sure. Please, come in."

"Strictly speaking, I'm not magic, Candace. There's a method discovered by biology called genetic engineering. Genetic codes tell our bodies what we look like and how we grow. My ancestors were given the ability to use nuclear fusion to help with colonists through this engineering. In order to stabilize the body to use this unique power, they copied fragments of the genetic codes from wolves."

She said as she sat down opposite Lambda. "I'd like your evaluation on the ones you've met, particularly one Mr. Dalahar Thresh." After a short pause, she added; "He's the big guy, if the report I've read is correct."

"The fusion? That's a bit hard to explain since I'm not a scientist and neither are you. But essentially it's taking.. gosh.. it's taking two tiny pieces of matter and slamming them against one another. But this is not like slamming two rocks against each other. This is much more energetic. And the energy released from the fusion can be massive. And energy is used as a power source. But don't worry about me, my abilities just started out, so I'm learning how to channel it."

She finished her soup pretty quickly, then kept on eating the steak and the chips with her fingers. While she did not use a napkin, she created a little bit of water sometimes, and used it to wash her fingers and her mouth.
