Mastodon in Sheffield, at the start of their Crack the Skye tour last year. Fucking brutal, could barely stand by the end of it. Only really bettered by Slayer back in May.

Ah, its cool, I only used the word gig as it fitted better into the title (an alteration of 30h!3's " well my first kiss went a little like this...")
Understandable, though I personally would've used "show". But that's just me.

Oh dear God...
Okay, I'll take the flames :/

My first gig was a Nickelback one, before their music became girly and was played on the radio all of the time. T'was pretty cool actually, especially when the band started throwing cups of beer out into the audience.

Since then, I've seen We Are Scientists, Tears for Fears, Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs, The Bloodhound Gang, and hundreds of local bands!

Lostprophets, May 1st 2010.
Headbanging to We Are Godzilla You Are Japan is beastly.
You're so damn right. August 25th, Sheperds Bush Empire. Queuing outside, Ian Watkins walks past about five feet away, saying: "sorry lads it's gonna be a shit show tonight, might wanna get your money back now" I lol'd. It was epic, they played Shinobi and FSoP and fuckin' To Hell We Ride.

That's a first gig to remember.

I was...10 if I'm correct. The Bouncing Souls at the local stage-to-be. And ever since I've been going around the country for gigs.

My first and only was last year. I went to see Elbow in Manchester with my Dad. While that may not sound like fun it was pretty awesome. Instead of stamping and clapping for an encore he told us to sing "All You Need Is Love". He made jokes between songs which were pretty good. The finale was pretty epic too. It was "One Day Like This" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk2xaeXnxlM ) and cofetti was goin everywhere.

We're goin again next year.

Chilli peppers, Hyde Park 2004. Meh... Taste of Chaos tour, 2005, Brixton Academy, fkin epic, funeral for a friend and killswitch started my true ~500 pound a year gig/festival habit.

It was actually at a more indie venue called Swayze's in the states. I went with somefriends as their token black guy and I had a blast I couldnt remember who was playing. At the time I was barely interested in screamo music but I still had a great time especially watching the crazy white people doing a little mosh pit and hitting other people in their faces.

First gig, Franz Ferdinand in the Heineken music hall in Amsterdam 2009. It was friggin awesome.

All the jumping (the entire crowd jumped, it was impossible not to go along with it) did give me muscle aches for days, but it was totally worth it.

Second (and last) gig was Muse at Goffert Park with the Editors & Ghinzu in the preprogram, it was even better.

I hate Keane. Lots.

Anyway, on Thursday I went to see Stone Sour and Avenged Sevenfold (supported by Hellyeah, but they're meh), and it was AWESOME.

The first gig I went to properly (as in, not with my dad in a seat) was probably Reel Big Fish. As far as I recall it was really, really good.

My first concert was Jamiroquai in Dubai Tennis Stadium in 2002. I went with my dad as we were both big Jamiroquai fans and it was great.

The BEST concert I've been to though, has to be Datarock at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo. That, was amazing.
