<color=purple> My brother used to do that to my saves all the time. Somehow I deleted a nearly complete Ratchet and Clank file a while back, and I don't like replaying those games, so generally I was pissed. And the power went out when I was playing an old Naruto game. I hadnt saved since i started playing and I had been playing allll day. I don't think I ever played that again either. Just recently, my best friend deleted two game files on my PSP by accident. Super collapse and Half-minute hero went bye bye. But then my friend surpassed my saves on both games, lol

I has about half way through my first play of Kingdom hearts (had just finished monstro and was half way through atlantica) when I accidently deleted my data.
I nearly died and didn't have the heart to play again for a couple years haha.

I deleted the fucking 'Application Data' folder in my 'Local settings' (win xp) and that's where about 4 of my fucking games happen to store my saves. Needless to say I was pretty pissed when my Fallout 3, Braid and NBA2k10 saves (on which me and a friend had been playing for almost an year a 2-player season) dissappeared. Who the fuck came up with the idea of storing game saves there?

This may not seem like much, but I was going through Bioshock 1 on hard (without dying and without saving), and I was doing good for about four hours. Then a power surge hits. Cue me screaming and breaking a GH controller.

My first play-through of Dark Cloud 2 for the PS2. That annoyed me quite a bit, and the game went to the back of the shelf for a couple months.

When I was 16 I didn't have the case to afford a PS1 memory card, so I played FF7 exceptionally well. I defeated the Weapons, mastered most matertia (epic task) and lived in constant fear of a power outage (in S.A that is an ever-present fear).

Then just before I was about to finished I accidentally pulled out the power cable.

Well ... Shit!

I accidentally deleted my 39 hour save file on FFXIII. That pissed me off an unbelievable amount.
This. Only it was a 200 hour save file, on FFX. 200 hours. Gone. Like they were nothing.

When I was younger I accidentally deleted the almost complete save file for Super Mario World that my mother, sister, and I had been plugging away at for the longest time. They were really happy when they got home.

I remember years ago I put the wrong memory card in to my PS2 and formatted the entire thing. I lost all my save games. :(

I was devastated.

Recently, I saved over my Just Cause 2 30 hour save by accident, got it all back soon enough though :]

Of all time, my Morrowind save file. Hundreds of hours, all gone just like that D:

Oh yeah. No one is contributing. At all.

I did this once in Fallout 3 myself, but I save so much I didn't really care.

In one of my more dopey moments years ago, I accidentally deleted my friends 100% completed save of wipeout on the PS. I was trying to start playing it at the time. Thankfully he forgave me.

Did this on GTA 3 and GTA Vice City. Then my GTA SA finished save file got corrupted. Not much luck with GTA. After that I was careful with what buttons I pressed and when.

I just lost my pictures file on my computer a couple days ago.

Over a gig of images, an entire folder of irreplacable images, all gone....

I can't remember exactly what it was, but I lost a great deal of progress in FC2 once.

Was deleting my gamertag off a harddrive (had one on the memory unit) and had already moved my game files onto the MU, so I went ahead and said Delete Profile and Items.

It wiped out the saves on BOTH the harddrive and MU, resulting in, among other things, my ACII data being lost, with only eleven feathers left to find, and Ninja Gaiden II nearly complete on Warrior.

-.-;
