Octillery

ah yes, i remember that one, second generation wasn't it?
well then... what abooouuut... an rhinoceros?
Oh come on you know who it is big hint. earth generation 1.

rhyhorn
damnit! now i remember!
sigh... okay... hm... what aboooooouuuuuuut... a walrus!
Such as Walrein?

I can't really remember seeing a spider or a sea cucumber.
there was that spinarack thing from second gen.
uuuuuum... a mongoose!
One of the defining characters for spiders is that they have 8 legs. Spinarak has 6. Also the eyes and mouth parts are wrong, though that might be Nintendo not wanting a horror movie Pokemon.
Mongoose is covered by Zangoose.

Tarantula, a spider that is designed to hunt.

Actually, I don't remember them making an ant. Followed by an ant eater.

Stick insect?

Prey Mantis?

Raptor?

Edit: OK, They've done an ant called Durant. Thanks for that.

I'm certain they've never done this animal before-

Man. Seriously, there's not one pokemon that resembles a man. Unless you count Ditto that cute pink slime critter who can appear to look like anything it wishes. Not even sure if it has a gender or not at all.
Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee would be the men, as they are based off of Jet Lee and Jackie Chan. :)

Darn ninja'd**
unitetional pun or intetional?
ot:Is there a domestic dog pokemon not aa wolf just a domestic dog?

Definitely not those weird tube creatures that live on the volcanic mess of the mid-Atlantic trench.

How about many psychic and fighting types? Even at the start, there were Jynx, Machoke, and Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee.

Have they done a badger? And they did a dolphin
Yeah they did a badger in Gen 2. Typhlosion.

OT: They haven't done a cheetah, and they haven't done a falcon as far as I can remember.

Lilpup from gen 5 is based of a terrier I believe.

Snubbull is sort of based off of a bulldog. That count as domestic?

Mantis: Scyther.
Stick Insect: Sudowoodo would be my best guess
Raptor probably won't be done until next gen. They always have ~2 prehistoric animals a gen.

Giraffe: Girafarig, the only pokemon to have a name spelled the same backwards (forget the name for that)

lol @ "haven't done a mouse before" xD

Also, Growlithe, Houndour, and Lillipup are all dogs.
They seem to have a dog pokemon every generation.
