Sailor Moon was an obsession of mine when I was young, like maybe 10. I held those comics and anime in as high regard as I did Batman and SpiderMan. They were truly great.

I'm more of the guy who is into action animes (like hellsing) thrillers (higurashi no naku koro ni) or comedy (fooly cooly) but for some reason I liked lucky star and to this day I keep asking myself how the hell did I find this entertaining so I decided to rewatch it and I still find myself chuckling at some of the jokes

I don't feel weird, but I remember after watching through Elfen Lied, I "became a fan" on facebook, to which a friend commented "lol excuse for watching naked women".
I watched that a year or two ago, and I recall liking it. It does make me feel weird indeed in retrospect.

Actually, I usually feel weird when I watch anime of any sort. And if I watch a lot of it at once, I suddenly feel like I should go outside and look for the sun. As if I need to make sure it's still there.

No, I guess I'm not an anime fan per se.

Those Who Hunt Elves. The show is pretty funny, but the premise draws weird looks from people I mention it to.

Is there any anime that uses unique premises to create rounded characters... In a shoujo that also contains robots?

Baccanno, Eureka Seven, GunXSword, these were all under appreciated gems in the current anime net.

I don't feel weird for liking any of them but I do feel weird for liking Goku from DBZ since the age of 7.

I loved it.

I know it's girly but it was still fucking awesome.
I loved that so much as a kid I'm thinking of buying it so I can watch it all the time and never stop ever. As soon as I buy Digimon.

Rosario Vampire for me. Though in retrospect, I like the manga a lot more than the anime, seeing as how the anime was nothing but fanservice, and in season 2 censored fanservice no less.
Pretty much this... that and Tenchi moyo(sp?) I cant find that anime, does anyone know a link nyoro~?

EDIT: and I'm the only person I know who adores Rozen Maiden... when will they come out with a third season?

None of my friends are any into anime so i feel kinda weird for liking any number of them. Online i don't feel weird about liking any of them. I see nothing wrong in liking Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Death Note and so on...

I did feel weird while reading the "Love Hina" manga though.

You watched Sekirei? I don't know of anybody else who watched that show. It left you with the cliff-hanger ending but i don't think they will finish it.
The second season just started ^_^

It's not an anime it's a manga so I guess it's borderline relevant so I guess I feel weird that I like "After School Nightmare" since it's not something I would read and talk about.

I don't admit to liking anime to people in the real world really much at all, but at the same time the ones I do like are not exactly ones I would be "ashamed" of watching. Namely Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Ghost in the Shell. I've not really watched other stuff, or rather I don't claim to have watched other stuff. ;P
