Well, i'm fortunate enough to have a decent PC that should be able to run Watch Dogs (which looks fucking great by the way) and that. I'm not really bothered to get either until some really, really good games come out and the PS4 price has gone down a bit.
Srsly tho, who the hell is going buy a Xbox One (fuck that name) except people who are horribly misinformed/ignorant about it and super hardcore Microsoft fanboys? Not to mention it's seemingly made for a market that either does not exist or is already fully catered to by Apple and the like so why even bother? Also it's a PC. A PC with shitty DRM and questionable business practices
Also i'm going to look this up but I think some of its policies are illegal in the UK/EU. I think.
EDIT: Oh I forgot to answer the question, basically not much but Microsoft's X1 looks so, so, so bad in comparison they don't NEED to try very hard to wow people. They can go "we're nothing like *that* guy, buy this instead"
Remember why the 360 was ahead of the PS3 to begin with? It was because they had really solid games both at launch and well beyond that, also XBL, while having a charge is actually damn good.
The PS3 was marketed as a gaming console/Blu Ray player and had trouble getting rolling on the game front because it's more difficult to develop for than PC and 360. It came out later as well but whatever.
Legal musing edit: Yeah it does seem to heavily violate the terms of first sale. Basically, you buy something, the company you bought it from can have no say on what you do with it (heavily simplified I know.) In other words, you buy something, it is now yours :O
Microsoft seems to kick that in the head by saying you cannot sell/lend this (product that you bought from us) to your friends fuck you.
You do know Europe exists right Microsoft? And we have considerably better consumer protection laws than the US... Just saiyan.
Hey it would be interesting if the X1 gets picked up on this and gets banned until they change their policy or something. Sounds hella interesting.
