And secondly, the music is d*** good.
The country's Sweden, if you didn't know,
and our music is among the best
the world has ever see- uh, I mean heard.
All the heavy metal that pours out from Sweden makes my eyes fill up with awesome!

OT: As odd as it may seem, British weather. I adore it! It's homey, it makes me feel happy.

The hole soccer thing is kind of nice because of the popularity of the sport i guess, but i don't really care much for it. I admit i have fun when my team wins and i can mock other guys because EVERYONE knows every single game and i know when someone scores just by hearing the fireworks (even in the little games, not just World Cup and stuff, it's preety impressive).

Yes... the beaches are nice, the women hot and the country is big and beatiful, but i have more fun in front of a computer or a TV, thank you very much xD

...Brazil by the way...

Ps: To all the ones saying "America" in here, you guys know America is actually more than just US right? And that the whole world doesn't spin around you and stuff like that, right?... just checking.

The tourists / foreigners. It's nice to have a chat with nice people once in a blue moon. Oh, and the beer too.

Everything else is moronic. I've stopped liking this hell-hole the moment that bald guy who apparently is president said "well, Romanians should just emigrate because the government can do nothing for them." That, and putting a tax on my $80 scholarship the state pays for by itself anyway. Sigh...

I wish I'd live in a country where a city with 300,000 inhabitants has more than one cinema. And the video game shops have more than 10 games at any given time.

I'm apparently from Romania, me.

I was once on a train that had broken down for 6 hours (virgin train of course) and nobody kicked up a fuss, they just went "oh dear" and went back to reading The Daily Telegraph, when they got home they promptly sent a letter to said newspaper with regards to the "atrocious" service they received from the buffet cart (it was PG tips tea as opposed to Earl Grey, the swines!).
I can imagine in your native country they'd practically overthrow the government for something like that.
Pretty much, in 1998 we had a strike over a new legislation that stated that if you went on strike for more than 3 days you didn't get paid for it... I'll let that sink in for a bit... we went on strike over striking rights.

Bringing the country to its knees is a national past time of ours.

Lol. Maybe it's different in London, but where I live people can complain pretty loudly. Funny thing is, they complain while they get on with whatever they were doing. I get the feeling they just like being annoyed at something : /
My favourite complaint ever was from an American, in America you used to get a discount if the service was not up to scratch so they developed an ability to pick anything apart to try to get a discount, anyway in a San Francisco Steak House the guy on the table next to me complained that the ice in his drink was too cold. ITS ICE FOR FUCK SAKE!

I like the diversity of terrain in the US.

Canada- Nobody hates us and everyone loves us.

Second largest country in the world

Stunningly beautiful scenery is most places, especially on the coasts or near the rockies.

larger populous of friendly people than most places

Great Health care system

And a BIG one for me is that its extremely understanding and helpful towards people with disabilities and has all sorts of financial and psychological help available at little to no cost.

I cant see myself living anywhere else...ever.

I LOVE canada...also our flag kicks ass. :)

Things I love about America: Carl Sagan! Also some truly beautiful wild places-- presently, at least. They're disappearing at an alarming rate.

I like how England puts it's common sense hat on when deciding laws instead of pulling out a bible and flailing it in everyone's face.

As a result we have a pretty tolerant country. Well apart from the select few that are logic's worst enemy, like the BNP.

I'm a national of two countries, and there is nothing I love about the either of them. But not because I hate them, but because "the ephemeral chatter of politics and national egoism is beneath one."

I would say a free, equal society where virtually everyone has a chance (still working on them drug addicts)but Sweden and Denmark are pretty much the same except we have more ageing racist xenophobes than they do.

Aside from that I quite enjoy our comedy scene.

Soilwork, Scar Symmetry, In Flames, Opeth, yeah, I agree with you, you've got the best music evar.

Sure, Norway is expensive, it may be overcrowded by German tourists in the summer, but there is a reason for that, it's got beutiful nature, many nice people and ME :D
