Canada- Nobody hates us and everyone loves us.

Except for the Toronto policeforce that is. I mean, they certainly seem to enjoy kicking the shit out of skinny, leftist protesters who commit the crime of singing the Canadian national anthem in public.

Maybe they sung the anthem so bad that the police officer took them down :O

We seem to get very upset when the flag gets burned... maybe it is the same thing, only with a song.

OT: Well...what is there to say about the United States that hasn't been said by everybody else? I guess we have some nice people if you go to the right places...and some of our states still look very pretty. And there's always an undeserved sense of pride that every citizen is born with. It is very hard to shake off but it can make you feel damn good.

What do I love about England? A whole bunch. We're quite warm for our latitude, we have a very deep history stretching back thousands of years, we have some really nice food, we make great TV shows, and state healthcare.

I particularly love our history. When you go to the USA everything is practically new. I live right next to Hadrian's Wall. It was built almost 2000 years ago by the Romans and stretches across the country. While a shadow of its former glory I still look at it and think "Holy shit that thing there's 2000 years old!". Since we're so small history is packed into every mile with Castles, Churches (I may not be Christian but those Cathedrals are amazing), and stone circles. Plus we have loads of great Pubs and lovely beer.

Also our Coca-Cola is made with real sugar. Not like that American junk.

This probably sounds weird, but that Coca-Cola thing is what impressed me the most. Real sugar? Dang. Now that's classy.

Same goes for Pepsi and other soft drinks. Why they don't put sugar in them in America I can't fathom. Corn Syrup?! Who the hell wants to drink corn?

Right now I'm holding a can of Pepsi, one of the ingredients listed is sugar... Pretty sure Coke has real sugar too.

the multiculturalism is nice, to an extent, and I enjoy the movies, television and video games as well. Oh, and lucky me, I actually live in a nice forested area, so the scenery and local wildlife (deer can regularly be seen in my yard) are all pretty nice, too.

Modern England is so depressing and disapointing for me. Because of this, i suppose the thing i love most about England is it's history and historical culture. What other country on earth could have produced a Chaucer, a Shakespeare, a Milton, a Byron and a Wordsworth? Also, many significant scientific discoveries can be attributed to English scientists of yesteryear. We also had lots of cool wars! The Wars of the Roses was awesome, as was the Hundred Years War (in which France played a bit-part too, of course ); and not forgetting some fabulous invasions and occupations, such as that of William the Conquerer, and the Saxons. Medieval English history is like a glorious taspestry of blood, gore, aristocratic inbreeding, feudalism and despotism!

I'm definitely of the school of thought that England is way, waaay past it's prime.
