What do you think health potions taste like?

My vote is that is probably just tastes like a protein shake or a slushy all syrupy and everything...not sure why but thats what comes to mind

Coconut Milk? Ice cream? Ginger beer? Lemonade? Mixed together?
They could taste like storm clouds, or the colour white.
They might be a little bit like a bottle of sweet cool water on a hot day, regardless of the taste because they keep you alive and healthy.
Anyone else feel that stimpaks aren't an adequate replacement, nor one that should work as well?

Most likely they'd be something akin to cough-syrup, bitter or sickly-sweet, with bits of the herbs and things floating around in them.
But then, they'd have to have a pretty low viscosity to allow for serious chugging in the middle of battles. We all know you only have so many hands when today's beast-of-great-darkness is trying to finish ripping out your liver, best not to tie one up drinking for any greater amount of time if you can help it.

Bitter, Health potion is the taste of not being able to do something under your own power.
I kind of figure the idea is to overload your nervous system long enough for you to kill things and get a real heal. I'm thinking something with horseradish, bad grapes, and water(not 'fresh mountain spring' more like 'inner harbor'); really nasty stuff so you don't get addicted or anything.

Well, some games have recipes, so in them I'd say they'd taste like whatever's in 'em.
Then there's the matter of where they are, their potency, etc.
But in the end it doesn't really matter, because I wouldn't care what it tastes like if it'll save my life.

I don't think you could taste it, over the feeling of your wounds being forcefully healed. I imagine the aftertaste to be something like a cross between wood-grain alchohol and cherry soda.
