I'd rather not any franchise die, but I would absolutely love to see another game in the Chrono series.

I'd like to see Return to Zork (the first comp game I ever played) and the Monkey Island Seris ressurected. I always was a fan of piont and clikc adventure games. ^^
Series that need to die because they haven't done anything new in a while: Mario, Zelda, Halo, Mario spin-offs, and fighting games (maybe)

let sonic, halo and especially Zelda die and bring back Oddworld, heretic and release Duke Nukem forever.

More Psychonauts and Stealth Games where you don't have to have a huge fire fight at the end to be "climactic" (looking to you Splinter Cell). Less racing games.
Tomb Raider needs to go, there are only a certain amount of archaeological gold-mines in the world and Lara found the last of them around TR:3, after that they just started making shit up in unacceptable ways (in TR 1-3 they made shit up in acceptable ways).
GTA could use a break (definitely not a finish, since they're still fun, but mebbe a 5 year break so people can forget about having played 6 of the same game already and fully enjoy the new one).

Kessen, I don't care what anyone says, it was awesome, and it could help Koei up their stock value since interest in the Dynasty/Samurai/Orochi Warriors series' has plummeted, the Gundam crossover was not a good choice.
Zone of the Enders, possibly the most fun mech games of the PS2. 'nuff said.
Destruction Derby. It was just mindless, violent fun.

There's a lot of games on the original xbox and PS2 that needed to be continued like Hunter the Reckoning, Mech Assault/Warrior, kotor, etc.

CoD needs to die, so does Halo. Old games like Deus Ex need to be revived though (I mean in the same manner, not an entirely different game with connecting plot and name)
id love to see my beloved Zorc game at least updated so it runs on vista with out and content changes . I love that wacky typing orented game
