I think it would work with up to 4 players. The different classes is a great idea and it would encourage cooperation. Seriously though, why has no one made this game? Maybe we should copyright it.Humanslayer619 said:Hamster at Dawn said:I want to see a coop stealth game. Could potentially be awesome.
They're all great ideas and the more I think about it, the more awesome it sounds. I like the idea about goin to save the caputered player. I think that would work well, but how many players would you have in a game?
At first i was thinking just 2 but now im thinking possibly upto 4. with each character being a different 'Class' or something like that with their own special talents so that the team has to work together and not just having one person running of and getting caught while the rest of you sit there planning a stragegy.
Yea i dont know why either. It might be because working out the actual stealth part along with no range barriers and just the whole concept in general. There have been some games that have had stealth elements in them or have just been mostly a full stealth game. But no-one has ever that I know of put out a game that is a co-op game that uses stealth as a core mechanic.Hamster at Dawn said:I think it would work with up to 4 players. That's sort of what I was thinking about. Ever play The 7th Guest? Great stuff, that was. I want MOAR.Chaosut said:I'd like to see more First person adventure games. There are a couple already, the obvious one being the Myst series. However i really find that First-person view makes a much more immersive experience.
I was totally thinking modern war before but I can't resist the lure of daggers and trickery and stuff like that now that you've mentioned it. I think I'm still going to have to go with a modern setting so you can have a load of cool but ridiculous gadgets. And guns, everyone likes guns.Humanslayer619 said:Yea i dont know why either. Yea from this moment on this idea is copyrighted by Myself and Hamster!
Just another thing. What period of time would the game be set in? More modern war or going back to a time period where assassin's creed was set in where you have to use daggers and trickery and stuff like that?
Well, I think a new Thief game is coming out next year.Major_Sam said:I would love more stealth games like the Thief series because I prefer tactics over mindless running out and getting killed.

Yep high-tech gadgets must come into play here at some point during the game. I wouldnt mind if the game did have guns but i wouldnt want the game to rely on them so much. Mostly because with games like velvet assassin i think its called which yahtzee just reviewed/critized did have major stealth elements in them but at the end there is just guns, guns and more guns turning it into a shooter than anything else. I personally havent played it and i probably wont but it was good to see another MOSTLY stealth-based game.Hamster at Dawn said:I was totally thinking modern war before but I can't resist the lure of daggers and trickery and stuff like that now that you've mentioned it.
