More real time tactics games like Full Spectrum Warrior and SOCOM: Tactical Strike. If anyone can point me to some PC games that resemble that play style I will thank you but until then, I want more of those DAMMIT!! Those are how you do a tactical game, none of this RTS bullshit or so called "tactical shooters", just brilliant strategy and real squad based tactics!

I vote: Single Player RPGs! (If I wanted to hang out with my friends, I'd have them over and we'd drink beer and not play video games) (that's why I don't like Mmorpgrs or whatever you want to call them).
Here, here! It seems lately that most RPG's are MMORPGs and I hate that. People annoy me. If I wanted to chat with idiots, I'd spend more time at work. I'll also get even more specific and say more single-player BioWare RPGs. I love Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights, and Mass Effect. We've got two BioWare titles coming up, but not soon enough. I'd love to see other studios devote some more effort to their storylines and characters like BioWare always does. Fallout3 and Oblivion were dull on both accounts, while Fable 2 was just dull period. I want an action RPG with snappy writing. Is it that hard?

Outside of the RPG genre, I'm seriously missing some good tactical espionage titles. I prefer strategy over guns-blazing, but the shooter genre seems to dominate the 360 right now. I'd love it if some studio created the xbox's solution to MGS4, preferably without the giant robots and crazy government conspiracies (alright, the conspiracies can stay).

I'd like to have more high-quality Western role playing games, along the lines of The Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect. I hope Alpha Protocol comes out this year. It's pretty much the entirety of whats left (as far as this year goes).

World War II FPS. Can't have enough of those.
No, no Deafinately not there have been too many! I mena I like a good FPS but come on there has been like how many games that have been based in WWII. I cant stand them! Yes i used to play them the games like medal of honor and call of duty 1-3 but then they make COD 4 and that was a great game then what do these idiots do after making something that worked and succeded as a game?

They got back to Fucking World War 2 AGAIN!!! and it's just a different guy, slightly differnet story of Americas moment of victory with you having to shoot repeatedly respawning bad guys until you and only you move up to where they spawned from only to find a wall! You could be just a private in the story but everyone seems to rely on you to move up or to do this or that even tho you have higher ranked soilders with you that should be leading your squad against the enemy...

If you like them then fine, but I personally have had just about enough of them!

Yep high-tech gadgets must come into play here at some point during the game. I wouldnt mind if the game did have guns but i wouldnt want the game to rely on them so much. Mostly because with games like velvet assassin i think its called which yahtzee just reviewed/critized did have major stealth elements in them but at the end there is just guns, guns and more guns turning it into a shooter than anything else. I personally havent played it and i probably wont but it was good to see another MOSTLY stealth-based game.

Also what faction would the players play as and who would they play against?
Actually I was just thinking the enemies should have guns otherwise it would take away from the stealth factor as you said. One possibility is where you play as a group of thieves and you have to heist banks and such like. I think that could be a lot of fun.

Yea i think that would be cool! Would there be like strategy puzzles to where 1 person has to solve it while the other players protect him. This would be alot different to most games where when your going to try to do one of these puzzles the game stops and the baddies freeze and you cant be attacked or anyrthing like that.

Also would the players be able to set up traps to either like kill or stun the gaurds to make the path to the objective easier?

FPSes with focus on tactical teamwork rather than just shooting everything up. Republic Commando comes to mind.

I would like to see more beat-em-ups like MadWorld. The boss fights made that game. More Wario Land games would be greatly appreciated too.

More Western Rpgs. I just love them. That is, the small selection that I play. So I want more like Fable, the Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Don't start recommending old games for me though. I wnat new stuff.

But what I would like most is a cross between an rpg, a shooter and horror. Preferably with zombies.

Mixed genera RPG Third person shooters like mass effect. or RTS RPGs Like War Craft. MMORFPS - RPG like Planet side. Games that combine the best of both worlds. But learn this dough, Rail shooting and other shooting types are not a combination its just a minor hitch of game play.

I don't want to see more half backed gears ripoff. I Like gears of war, but playing it over and over and over with a different skin is annoying. Also the damned Cry engine. IT keeps on making the same game over and over and over and over... Its soo annoying, they have an amazing engine that allows sheer size of game play but look at that, its another FPS with vegetation fetishes. Gosh!

"Western" RPGs- Oblivion, Fallout, KOTOR, that sort of thing. But I still like all the shooters.
Ditto.

I agree with this too; I'd also like to see more "psychological horror" games, a la the first three Silent Hill games.

Off topic: Dexter's Lab rocks. (Props for the Dex avatar :) )
