What game had the BEST graphics of 2008?

I am not sure how you consider that a "Fail" but the game did suck but hey its my opinion and I am sticking to it just as everyone else.Sketchy said:

Graphics aren't the only thing Crysis has to offer. You can grab commies by the neck and throw them THROUGH a building. All in amazing HD.
Also, shoot down trees pick them up and throw them at enemies.
What other game can you do that in?
my money was in Crysis yea not a overly imaginitive game but once you get a computer to runn it at max setings i dont think much can compare and not you dont have to have a super death PC to runn it just have to be smart about what parts you need/use
Without musing overly long on the question [for PC games] I short-listed three.
1) Fallout 3
2) Dead Space
3) Far Cry 2
I really couldn't choose a single one out of them because each of them had parts that met the best graphics criteria. Far Cry 2 really dazzled with its fire effects. Dead Space gave us the sort of creatures I'd expected from Doom 3. The whole game area is what singled out Fallout 3. You really did feel like you were in a post-apocalyptic environment. These comments only make sense if you've seen the game on a high enough graphics card. No doubt, you lose something if your pc runs on something less than an Nvidia 8800. I don't use ATI cards so can't comment on them.
I do have to say though, Alone in the Dark was the biggest single disappointment of 2008.

Depends on what you define as good graphics. Art like when okami came out was superb! Where as graphics you have crysis. All depends on what you like.D_987 said:
I thought the graphics in Gears of War 2 were stunning, the level of detail took my breath away it was great!
