Oblivion *raises flame shield*. It's generic and uninspired, at least in my opinion. I don't see why people like it so much.
I would agree and considering they basically stole the opening song from pirates of the caribbean and changed a few notes didnt help. The music was about as good as the game bland, boring and could use alot of improvement to make it half decent.

Basically any FF game especially 13 has really really bad and annoying music. There is always 2-3 decent songs out of 30+ but they are just to short and constant repetition is rather annoying.

Il never understand the point of a soundtrack in games like MW2 or most fps games coming out these days. You cant hear 95% of the music over the sound of gunfire anyways. Hell I didnt even know there was any music in MW2 until somebody in this thread mentioned it.

I loved the fallout 3 music on GNR but god dam three dog repeated himself alittle to often.
There are mods to fix Oblivion and GNR. No, really. Oblivion is far better with mods, and they expanded GNRs content in a Fallout 3 mod. :p (Viva la Mods!)

The Maw had some down right annoying tracks. The only example I can think of right now is the music that plays when you eat the worm thing that lets you float. It's an okay game but the music was just awful, which is sad because the guy who composed God Of War did it, and GoW's music wasn't too bad.

The soundtrack rarely ever makes or breaks a game for me since i can just mute it and turn on my stereo instead. Im mostly a console gamer and though I do download the occasional game for PC if the mods look really cool. These are normally ones i already own for the ps3 or 360 though.

I have been looking at the pc mods for fallout and they will probably tempt me quite soon. Oblivion though i just didnt like the bland hack and slash combat. Especially that you have to click the button everytime you want to attack. Didnt we fix that problem back before diablo 2 came out, you know click to attack once hold down button to continue attacking.
Combat Mods FTW :p Tried them?

For me it would be Fallout 3. Except for the main menu music at about 30 seconds in. Of course, the start of that is rather annoying. But the idle, "wandering" music is just so damn annoying.
Heh. I just changed the music for the in-game files. Also, Fallout 3's little brother, Oblivion, also had shitty music. I changed that out, too.

Prince of Persia 2008 had super repetitive music. It seriously might as well have had the same 20-second clip looped for the entire game.

Dear lord what an awful sound track, any soundtrack ever that has Puddle of mudd, or click click boom is just absolute torture.

Yeah tell me about it. And then they threw it completely off the scale by douching up the main character.
I never liked the prince in any of them. He always came off as whiny, except in Sands of Time he was spoilt and in Warrior Within he was just angsty.
The first two games (side scroller ones) had it down perfect. He never talked.

Aye I downloaded a few mods to try and suite my needs for music. Unfortunatly because I have probably over 100 mods already installed, any more made the game very unstable and crash harder then a drunk after 100 beers.

True Crime. Pretty sure it was the first one, but I had to turn off all but 3 songs since they were so annoying. Mostly all rap I think...

Some of the songs in fall out three I hated because they were so damn repetitive. I just shut off the music and listen to my own.
Yeah I sware there was only two songs in that game. The main music (which as I said, was alright), and the ingame music, which was just bloody awful and droney. And not the good kind droney that one would use for sad apocalyptic wasteland, but the kind that just strains your ears to hell and back.

I find the soundtrack to most DDR games horrible. I had one DDR game, and there were some legitimately good songs, but the most of them were ear-bleeding J-Pop, and I think there was a couple title themes to some obscure animes thrown in there. Seriously, it was bad.

It's actually not too terrible.

The minute I read him downing Fallout 3's music, I took this as a troll thread.

I will continue to disregard it legitimacy this thread may have.
