What game series do you wan't to kill? (painfully)

Here's a reply that's sure to be unpopular -
FPSs. In general. All of them follow the same basic mechanics and controls and are just skins of each other with very few notable exceptions. There are some d*mn good FPSs, I will agree, but for the most part you have 30-50 of these things coming out every year, and they're all fundamentally the same. Space Marines killing aliens with plasma swords or Space Marines killing aliens with guns that shoot saw blades or Space Marines killing aliens with a gun that's ALSO A CHAINSAW! It's innovation- er, nope, wait, it's the same stuff with one new shiny bauble. Come up with something new and different already, like Portal. (Which was also just an FPS, but at least it had the whole portal gimmick and d*mn good writing to back it up.)
Sports games too. Seriously, get off your duff and go play outside if you're that into sports.

Knew final fantasy would come up an awful lot on this .... everyones entitled to their opinions I guess. I really like final fantasy and JRPG's, but understand that not everyone likes them ... as there isn't that much "game" to them. Not sure why theres so much hate for sports games (NHL is very good imo, so was rugby ... ish up to the point where they said Dan Hipkiss was a Kiwi.(he is english) )

GTA - just plain bored of it now, after vice city my interest was waning, san andreas was the standout game, just seems boring to me now.
Lego games. OK, they are fun but I feel that they will attempt to parody everything in the whole media world now that they are selling well. Just feel it will become old very quickly if it continues much more.
Spyro the dragon ... anyone still play these games?? Nobody I know does, yet they still keep coming!

The "Imagine" series for the DS - don't think I need to describe this one

But ocarina of time for me was one of the best out of the series not the best of course, that title goes to link to the past awesome game, but i understand i never liked windwaker, the DS series was crap and twlight princess for me was dreadfull but nintendo suffer alot because all they can do is release the same characters in new games that over time get worse and worse soon it will die but they have got to round it off firstsv93 said:
