What game would like to see a movie made of?

I like the Pixar/ insomniac Ratchet & Clank idea actually, more the more i think about it.
On the inverse of the topic, Movies which i feel deserve a game or better games than they got:

-Cloverfield,
-Batman
-Almost every pixar film- This may change as word on the web suggests pixar may start producing their games as well as their films
-Harry potter- how about a full sandbox game of hogwarts and the town, following plotlines from books/films 5 & 6
-Dune (dune 2000 is a classic and an exception)
-Starwars (lol)
-The dark crystal

Yeah, it was based on a ride at disneyland. I dunno where you get the Monkey island thing from. If you have been on the ride you see all the sites and stuff which they actually go to in the movie. Meh.

I think if done well that would make an excellent film. It has such a great setting, Victorian Steampunk, and a dark, disturbed, foreboding atmosphere, I would love to see it expanded onto the big screen.

I'm imagine it would be a bit like a cross between Dark City & The League of Extranordinary Gentlemen.

Hopefully the characters would be played by British actors, rather than traditional Hollywood action stars.

Off the top of my head, I'd cast Sean Pertwee as the Brigand, Jason Flemyng as the Gentleman, Jason Statham as the Mercanary(or maybe Karel Roden), James Nesbitt as the Preacher, Brian Blessed & Tom Baker as NPC's...

I'm looking forward to the new King of Fighters film. If only so I can tear into it about the awful actor selections and blatent disregard for the series storyline in favour for girls running around with not many clothes and beating up muscular men with no shirts on.

Any IP can be translated into film. My eagerness to see it happen is deterred by the track record as well.

Fact is video game stories cannot be directly translated to film which inevitably pisses gamers off and because video game movies are only picked up as for profit projects they have to date never earned critical appeal in the cinematic culture.

I mean, seriously, how would you relate Mass Effect to a theatre audience in two hours?

Call me crazy but I liked the first resident evil.

Rainbow 6 could make a pretty good series. Kinda like "ultimate force" but with-out the washed up actors and bad plot lines.

Metal Gear solid ought to have been a film from the start If I'm honest. The only thing that made it worth playing for me was the hilarious cardboard box thing.
