Probably Final Fantasy X. Loved the story, was really hooked on it when I first got it. Though VII and VIII come to a close second.

With RPGs, it's a bit easier to come back to it with 'new eyes', especially if it has been a long time since you played it. I recently replayed VIII and I was somewhat surprised at how it had me hooked. I don't know why, but the love story in that always gets to me. I got the OST to that game and listened to 'Eyes on Me' like... 12 times.

Some old games never really get old. :)

I'd love to go back and play Ocarina of Time again when it first came out, as to date, no game has come close to recapturing those same feelings I had when I first played it.
much like Fister (lol)I also enjoyed playing through OoT with my older analytical eyes, not the eyes of an eight year old
Also i would RE-play....The spyro game on the PSX...i played it when i was really little at my friends house...he didnt have a memory card so we never got far

~~Definitely Okami. It was one of those games I wish I hadn't played, just so I could experience the joy of playing it for the first time again. It was amazing, why don't more games crib Zelda? Beautiful art, music, atmosphere, gameplay, and story. RIP Clover.
HELL YEAH. I remember just buying the game on day one thinking it would give me some cool new graphics and gameplay. However it BLEW me AWAY with the most amazing action-adventure experience I've ever had.(that includes Zelda)

Final Fantasy X would be nice to play through again, not knowing any of the story twists. Either that or Mass Effect, since I loved the story and conversation system so much, but could never get myself to like the combat.

World of WarCraft. After having played it since the open beta most of my playtime is spent whining about how it was much better in the past when it was new and exciting, so maybe, yeah.
Pretty much this for me too. WoW was the best game I had ever played for about 1 and a half years and I'd love to relive discovering all the new stuff they had in that game.

I'd like to be able to play Kingdom of Loathing with fresh eyes (free MMORPG), as the humour is perhaps without parallel, despite the simplistic gaming.

For a plot-driven game it would have been FF7 if the gameplay wasn't too slow to compete with the modern market, so I'd probably said Braid or Portal. They were short and very sweet, but I'd love to be able to go into them again with no preconceptions or knowledge of them and bask in the warmth of their respective glows.

I'd either go with Oblivion or Halo: Combat Evolved. Oblivion was just so damn fun, and I practically memorize Halo so either of those would be incredibly interesting to redo.

Half-Life 2, because I played Ravenholm via the demo in the middle of a sunny September day with my five-year-old, extremely loud sister playing with friends downstairs. Kind of ruined all the creepiness that everyone else was raving about.
Also, Oblivion, because I first played it on a PC that could barely run it and thus it looked like crap (even the epic ending), and because the epic ending was spoiled by an a-hole friend of mine. Well, there's still Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.

Halo. It's so overrated, but my first play through was like the second coming of baby Jesus with pancakes.

the very first scene, where you take control in the water after the plane crash... i thought that looked amazing, graphically... and the first time i saw it i thought it was a cutscene because it looked so amazing..

The original Metal Gear Solid (Or the entire MGS series as a whole).

The first time i played it i was too young to be competent at it and only had a 4 day rental and has since remained un-completed. But with the rest of the series completed it seems anachronistic to go replay it.

Sad Times :(

Zelda: OoT. Thats the greatest game Ive ever played, and i cant describe how awesome it was going through it not knowing what came next. I would do anything to have that experience again.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Just to go back and have that first feeling of awe I got when I played it. Though... this goes for a lot of the really good games. Heck, Morrowind too.

All of them. I'd save so much money; I won't have to buy a new game for years.
