MGS, Mario 64, Donkey Kong, Turok, House of the Dead, Mr. Bones, Banjo-Kazooie. The list goes on, but those are just a few.

I think the very first game I ever played was this Quick Basic Gorilla dueling game. The normal 'firing angle and power' turn-based game.

Later came Doom and Wolfenstein 3D. 2D-games such as Commander Keen 4, Duke Nukem 1 and my very first RTS game, the legendary Command & Conquer.

You've pretty much summed up how I was raised (though you missed out Starfox :p). Then I was cruelly sold to a workhouse by Nintendo until I was saved by the kind and generous Valve in the form of Gordon Freeman crowbarring his way out of Black Mesa.

Basically, all of Nintendo. Up until this generation, I always thought Nintendo was far superior.

Super street fighter 2 and Bomberman on the SNES. Classics of entertainment, even the new street fighters are basically unchanged from the origionals.

The very first game I have a cognizant memory of playing is actually "Bayou Billy" on the NES. Side-scrolling beat 'em up mixed with light-gun shooter sections and a racing/spyhunter sort of driving section. Pretty damned cool.

Wonder if I've still got that one floating around.

Carmageddon and Crash Bandicoot.

Also Pizza Tycoon.

Nothing like an eclectic mix of games

Earthworm Jim, Crash Bandicoot.

I also apparantly played DOOM in my early years (5-6), and I have always played, though up until now never understood, Creatures
