Wow, everyone really loves the AK47. I could be wrong but unless I'm mistaken the AK47 is mostly known for cheapness and mass productability, rather than being "The Best."

Yes, it is. I LOVE mine. It has a 20+1 round capacity, can penetrate almost anything, has almost NO recoil, and is accurate up to 100 yards or so in the right hands. It is almost the perfect handgun!
But an unarmoured target won't stop coming at you. For stopping power, nothing beats the .455 colt 1911. It will stop a man dead in his tracks.
Okay, well I've fired a Five-seveN only on a range and it was bloody excellent.

Colt Single Action Army. This gun is the best gun ever.

I love the thrill of reloading during a battle.

This is a revolution!
Another vote for the SAA here. Revolvers just have that coolness as air of class about them, and the SSA just stands out.

That is one beautiful piece of hardware.

What I loved about the Desert Eagle in STALKER was it was just about as worthless as the real ones are.

H&K .45 USP Compact, the best Carry weapon created.

The stopping power of a .45 with lower weight and reduced recoil. I love mine and carry it daily.

I prefer the full frame, but I agree with you the USP is a damn fine piece of modern hardware. And my pick for a carry weapon.

And finally, the FN Five-Seven. It has scary power for a small caliber handgun.

Here's a vido of a Five-Seven hitting a target at range!

Is that the handgun that uses the same AP amunition as the P90 (well it did in MGS 4)? Because I do love that gun. Also the video won't work as embedding has been disabled.

I thought so. That would be the gun I would have if it wasn't extremely Illegal. I have a BB G36 though.
The Five-Seven probably isn't actually illegal if you're in the States. But, I've always been under the impression that it only existed to allow FN to classify the P90 as an SMG.

EDIT: to put something in perspective, if you're firing airsoft BBs, the rounds its firing are actually larger than the Five-Seven's rounds.

Minigun obviously the best because you're so afraid of it's magnificence you fear mentioning it.

That said, http://media.photobucket.com/image/revolver%20with%20explosive%20rounds/ldp4570/GUNS%203/DSCN0629-1.jpg

Why choose?

Prior to gearing themselves towards grenade platforms, metal storm where working on a handgun known as the o'dwyer Vle. I don't know what is happening with this project, I think it has been back burned in flavour of weapon platforms which is where the technology has the most military potential.

This is a beautiful gun that uses modern technology. It has the potentual to carry multiple round types and was oridginally designed for police work, stacking less then lethal rounds with lethal rounds. Enabling an officer to respond to any situation appropriately with just a flick of a button. Even could broadcast the 'escalation' so the person your point the gun at knows you now mean to kill them.

On top of that it was a great deal safer to operate. The safety systems mean the weapon have an automatic shut down if they are removed from the hands of authorised personal. This means if a criminal manages to get their hands on your weapon they can not shoot you with it. Like wise this means the weapon is a far more safer alternative to other handguns, eliminating the whole 'children shooting friends' situations.

These weapons also never jam, the mechanisms in place mean that if a round fails to fire the next round will still be able to fire and in fact will clear the obstruction. Given that the barrels themselves are replaced when you reload it also means the weapon needs less maintenance and cleaning to keep it in peek operating efficacy.

Then you have to look at the shocking, and I mean shocking, rate of fire! This weapon is capable of firing three round bursts instantaneously. I don't mean so fast they seem instant I mean all three rounds fired at the same time, leaving the weapon before recoil even takes affect.

And yes, they have produced some of these handguns but finding the damn footage of them in action from ten years ago is a bit tricky, so they are not just a blue print but a proven design.

Yeah, but for what it lacks in stopping power, it makes up for in magazine capacity and the ability to make a quick follow-up shot. The .45 has superrior stopping power, and I love mine to death, but something about the 5.7x28mm ammo and its characteristics just appeal to me.

On another note, the 5.7x28mm ballistic tip will tumble upon entering a soft target. However, I would not trust it to stop a target as quickly as a .45 will.

The Five-Seven is perfectly legal in most states. However, there was some debate as to whether or not to allow them to be sold in the U.S. because they were/are too good at what they do - piercing things... Armored things.

I just use mine for targets. It's a PERFECT target pistol. It fires a small, fast round that is EXTREMELY accurate. The only problem that I have had with mine is that I knocked the front sight a little loose by trying to fit it into a universal holster that wasn't. I intend to carry it when I get my CCW permit, but it's not 100% perfect for that due to the problem of over-penetration. The hollow points help, but they are not a gurantee. Besides, I don't even know if I will be able to find a holster for it... The front sight is extra tall to accomodate a suppressor if so desired.

I have never heard of that sniper rifle, so i looked it up and damn i was impressed by it. Found this blog on it- http://michaelbane.blogspot.com/2008/03/friday-clogged-arteries.html

Powerful, very accurate, versatile, and reliable. You rarely get those qualities in one rifle. No wonder the SAS love it.

I backed someone up on this earlier but never said it myself, it's gotta be the steyr aug, Imagine if you ak47 was half the size and 100 percent accurate to 300 meters if the scope is calibrated correctly.

The M4 if you want one. That competes with the AK and is better(and worse) insome ways.
I personally woud choose an MP40, It just looks so fun to shoot.
