I would say this:
"Take hockey practice more seriously, you can make it big."
It's crushing to hear so many people tell me if I had a better attitude towards practice, I possibly could be playing professionally. I had the potential, a mind for the game, I remember skating up the ice and around most of the opposing team with my eyes shut. But in my young arrogance, I ignored peoples advice. At age 20 what do I do now? I go to college studying in a trade I'm not even all that interested in.
I may try my hand at coaching.
