Red Ninja- End of Honour

I then learned never again to buy a game because you could see up the lead character's komono on the cover.

If anyone else has played this game they will know what I mean when I say it is a broken, infuriating piece of shit.

I bought Kingdom Hearts on a whim one day when I was out shopping with my Dad. Good god, I'm good at making decisions. I hope I keep that skill in later life.

When I had my PS1 : I bought 2 games. One was a platformer called Wild 9 (turned out to be cool with some killer music trax). The other was Parasite eve. (For back in the day, that game was freaking awesome.)

off-topic: I ended up buying Parasite Eve 2 the month after >_<!

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner. I've heard of the franchise, but nothing about the specific game. I'm loving it so far.

Katamari Damacy. Picked it up years ago because it looked weird, and it was. But it was also extremely fun, thus making me a lifelong Katamari fan.

About 5 years ago, I bought Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu for the Playstation. Basically like Pokemon, but you can fuse monsters together and cast spells.

Best $10 I ever spent.

I bought Chrono Trigger from my local game/movie rental place when they were liquidating their SNES stuff. Excellent game.

Vagrant Story for the PSX. Still one of my favorite games of all time. Incredible storytelling.

More recently, all three Penumbra games in a pack on Steam. I just saw them and said, "Survival horror. Why not?" I was majorly surprised at those games. It's not exactly next gen, but they did a whole lot of things very right in those games.

I got Baldurs Gate 2 free when a local pc shop formatted my pc. Didnt charge me for the formatting either and they replaced the power unit. All free of charge!

Epic game.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, I really just bought this game out of pure randomness, I hadn't heard about Cthulhu until then. I was just really into horror at the time and I went in a game store and asked for a horror game. He gave me this one and I didn't even know the title of it until I installed it at home.

Ground Control II, even though I recieved that as a gift rather than bought it for myself. Never played anything quite like it and I was more than pleasantly suprrised at how fantastic it turned out to be.
Did they ever make a sequal to that game? Cause it was awesome

Fallout 3. I rarely research games to begin with, but I picked this one up blind due to the contrast of the front and back pictures; and thought it looks interesting. It was also £6 from a supermarket (o_O), so I thought 'why not?'.
wow how is it possible to sell a game at that price that came out so recently, especially one that hassnt had a price drop in most places.

Counter stike: scource, to tell you the truth i originaly just wannted it for more stuff in garrys mod, but now i still play it to this day.
They had tons of copies in the store, so I'm guessing they were overstocked and couldn't shift them, what with keeping full RRP. I went in a few days later and they'd sold out though, so guessing it worked. :)
