What is the cheapest way you have ever killed a boss/mini-boss/tough enemy?

When I finally got to Lebedev in Deus Ex, I stuck a LAM on the entrance to the room. Halfway through conversation *BOOM!* "Jesus JC, that was Agent Navarre..."

Really any time you kill Colonel Autumn in FO3 is cheap...

I finished the last Allies mission in Red Alert 2 using a couple of chrono legionnaires and a Spy Satellite.

343 Guilty Spark in Halo 3... though that's kind of the point

In the Flash RPG Sonny 2, they'res a hard ass boss (He's called the Baron, I recall) around the mid point with an attack that can pretty much drain your health instantly over a short period of time.

How did I get by this?

I had my main character repeatedly cast two spell's, one that Stun's him, preventing him from attacking. Then, when he was no longer stunned, I would cast a spell that would prevent him from using magic, and since I had two of each spell bound I could essentially cast the stun spell twice, then cast the one that prevent's magic twice, and by then, the one that stunned him had recharged.

The battle essentially consisted of me doing this:

-Stun enemy boss.

-NPC allies wail on him.

-He stops being stunned.

-Stun enemy boss.

-NPC allies wail on him

-He stops being stunned.

-I use the magic blocker spell on him.

-NPC allies wail on him.

-He hits us with a weak ass melee attack.

-His magic stops getting blocked.

-I use the magic blocker spell on him.

-NPC allies wail on him.

-He his us with his weak melee attack.

-His magic stops getting blocked.

-My stun ability has recharged.

It felt cheap, but fuck it, he was a goddamn HARD boss.

Monster hunter, the first monoblos hunt, I basically just kept going to the adjacent area whenever my health got low and tanked the big bastard, which still causes me a bit of guilt lol...MH is about skill and timing, not about cheap tricks.

This one isn't necessarily a boss but it's in a similar vein. Anyway Warrior Kings. Theres this one level with two neutral towns and the game allows you to ally with the town of your choice while the other turns hostile. And they were hard as hell to defeat. So on my third or fourth attempt I just went to the potential enemy's town, walled them in and filled the main square with guard towers filled with archers. The moment they turned hostile the entire place was razed to the ground in minutes. Incredibly satisfying.

At the top of my head, I can't think of any, although I do remember one of my friends being able to kill off X Death in Final Fantasy V by just casting Death over and over again until it worked.

Demon's souls false king.

I basically walked in the boss room and hid behind a wall. The boss fight was initiated, and the king walked forward to confront me, but he couldn't see me. Before he reached the wall i hid behind, he stopped and turned his back to me like an idiot. I just snuck up to him and hit him with a poison spell. He had no idea he was hit and just kept staring forward. 15 minutes and several poison spell refreshes later he died.
Same with the spider boss in the tunnel (don't remember the name) if you hide behind a rock ledge near the entrance he cant hit you just take potshots with a bow or spell and hell die in no time.
"Armored Spider" Arrows with light armor and dodge rolls work too. (Or Magic to a slightly lesser extent.)
I actually can't imagine trying to take that big bastard down with my katana...some of those bosses were, well..evil lol

In Half-Life, I killed the final boss by standing behind the stalagmite as soon as the fight starts, then I used the crossbow on the crystals and then just inched out a little, and blasted him with the rpg. He didn't see me once, and he didnt attack. He just stood there and took my hits.

I was once playing sonic adventure 2, and I don't know exactly what happened, but in the first fight against shadow, I homing attacked the fuck out of him and I won in 4 seconds.

Brother Vick in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.
Normally he runs around at superspeed and shoots you with a shotgun while his zombies attack you.
I just cornered him and waled on him with a fire axe while moving side-to-side to avoid his shots. I barely even needed to use any abilities but the attack button.

Also, when fighting the kingpin of the asian gang in Crackdown 1, I just kicked him off the building. It took almost half a minute for him to fall down all the way. Though that one is more awesome than cheap in my opinion.

The cheapest method I use? Turn down the difficulty to easy, rape the boss a new asshole and turn the difficulty back up so I can still feel like I am a capable gamer. Though I have only ever used this on a select few bosses in Dragon Age. That High Dragon can be a ***** when you are only level 9.

That requires the kind of coordination I don't have.

Star Wars: Battlefront 1

The jedi on that are supposed to be invincible, anytime you shoot at them they block your shots no matter what. Darth Vader was looming up to me on Bespin (that sky city planet with the big bridges). I panicked and threw a grenade it blew up at his feet and launched him out of a window.

It was satisfying to see "Player 1 killed Darth Vader" in the corner of the screen.

I utterly destroyed Mr. Sunshine in Saint's Row 2 with a barrage of rockets. Considering they hyped him up to have almost supernatural abilities (you know manipulating my movements with the force) he sure was easy because I still had seven rockets with me, so once he let go of me just one time I unloaded all of them on him and I was done in just under a minute.

Borderlands takes this title, hands down.

You know in Knoxx's Secret Armory, how there's the secret final boss that is INSANELY hard?

This was the best video I could find.

Don't bother quoting me unless you are up for conversation and can type more than two sentences at a time. None of this "lol u suk" shit.

Crawmerax the Invincible as everyone has done I'm sure. Stood in a corner where he forgets you exist and casually blew off his critical points. Then my friend came up and distracted him so I could shoot him in the back.
