I enjoyed the Halo series, I truly did, but Halo 3 was dissapointing. It was overhyped, and even though I didn't believe more than half the hype, the final result was mediocre. I did like the other two, though.Vrex360 said:

I never played Vice City but I played San Andreas for about 2 hours and I played number 3, and IV just doesn't stand up to the expectations they set. But it sold like a billion copies anyway
The sick thing was that I had pretty low expectations. I loved San Andreas but I wasn't expecting anything that big or busy. The problem was that it didn't even live up to the next gen GTA3 calibre game I was expecting. There was so much missing that it seemed more like a next gen gta clone like true crime or something like that.
Mercenaries 2. Great concept, poor execution thanks to being entirely broken, with the AI as dumb as they can get which really, really destroys the whole pleasure that you can get in playing it. oh and I'm reinstalling it at the moment, might as well enjoy those few hours before the next semester starts.

In general, there's a good reason why people hate H3 now. Even if you've completely ignored ALL of the hype, speculation, and yadda yadda associated with that game (a feat I managed to accomplish for the most part), if you've played ANY of the past Halo games EVER then H3 is a huge step backward in every way but the graphics. And its probably safe to say that all of the people who got excited about H3 had played a Halo game at some point. So I'd have to say that's my nominee for this thread, even though it's kind of a common opinion. By the way, congratulations on being one of the few people who liked H3.Vrex360 said:

Ok, first off all u seem very aware of a much of a hype fest halo is since u start defending before the flamin comes and by ur hl2 remark u reveal ur utter ignorance in games and should check up the definition of quality sumtime...
