What is the most disappointing game ever?

every time a new sonic game comes out, it becomes the most disappointing game ever. I just want to see one last good sonic game before I die!

Might I suggest Sonic Rush for the DS? Very good. Keeps Sonic in 2-D where he belongs.

Okay, I'll give you that, but I want to see sonic success in 3-D with all my heart! I beat Sonic Rush, and Sonic Rush Adventure, but thanks for the advice! They are pretty good games!

Never lose hope my friend. The present may seem bleak, but the future holds many surprises... but in all honesty even I'm surprised about how optimistic I still am after how many let downs... That's just me I guess! ^_^

High speed doesn't handle 3 dimensions well. I'm afraid you might be disappointed.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Secret of Evermore. The supposed "sequel" to Secret of Mana in the US. Yeah. Yeah it's a game so bad the developers apologize for making it in the ending credits. Seriously, like...that's not a joke. They really do.

I agree wholeheartedly, Fable 2 is the worst game i have ever bought.
About midway through the story i picked up the original and played it for a while just to calm myself down.

You better off playing Fable Lost Chapters

Hmm, i admit, i did like the Lost Chapters, but really i think that original was the best.
Mainly because of the original Jack Of Blades.
He sounded so sly and mysterious, we didn't get to see his story, but in the Lost Chapters,
He was all, RAWWWR, FEAR ME.

I gave up on sonic because he had wasted too much of my money, now i am skeptical to even rent his games (and for good reason). I was on of the suckers who bought Every 3d game between Adventure battle 2 (It was awesome in my eyes, gameplay wise and ciao wise) and secret rings (it is crap by itself in gameplay, then add the music which goes every 30 seconds and you got a one way trip to insanity.)
So yea, you know what games were in the middle and you can see my reasoning.

After watching the latest Unskippable, I'll have to go with Far Cry 2. Most repetitive boring game play in a long while. But hell, at least it looks nice...

Recently I decided to pick up a copy of Resistance 2. Huge mistake. I dropped $60 on one of the worst games I've played in my life. It has absolutely no redeeming qualities and I cant believe that anyone would play it for any reason.

A couple months later, I decided to buy Killzone 2. I dont know how the developers did it but they managed to make this game worse than Resistance 2. The two are pretty close in abysmal quality though. These are the two most disappointing games that come to mind, but they were very recent and I'm sure there are plenty of worse games before them so lets hear them.

Resistance 2 was awesome

Fable 2- Fable with a Dog and even worse storyline

Fallout 3- It wasn't a bad game, but I was expecting so much more out of it.

Dungeons & Dragons:Heroes- I was suckered into buying this because Dungeons & Dragons is a an amazing Role-Playing Game and Baldur's Gate Kicks Ass... too bad this game's a dungeon-crawl.

Final Fantasy XII.
I really wanted to like it, I really do. Even after I saw some gameplay videos I still got the feeling that it was not going to deliver. But after I brought it and played it for a few hours, I was convinced that that game was pure garbage.

I would rather people not misquote me thanks. But seriously I liked the story of 7 much more.
