Regrettably, no. My sister's puppy tore apart my dress shoes. Fortunately he did it well in advance of my friend's wedding, but I was not happy about having to shell out the money for a new pair.
Nor would anyone else be, I'm sure.
And I know it can happen to guys just as often, I was just remarking that only the women have brought it up this far.

That'd actually be a rather mean-spirited trick to play on people: Teach a dog that it's totally okay to destroy other people's shoes, then ask people to babysit your pet for you at their house...

My mum's dog has eaten my tablet pen, an entire set of expensive colored pencils, a $30 plush I bought from a convention and three pairs of iPod headphones. No one's allowed to touch my stuff anymore because they leave it where the fucking mutt can get it.

And my cats keep pissing and throwing up all over my clothes and blankets, so yeah. Pfft.

OH. And my little baby rabbit ate my bra.

This sick thing is that my dog is female...

You have now piqued my interest about how many other women have lost footwear here to pets...

My cat recently decided to lose her sanity and so ,consequently, i'm losing mine.

She actually manages to meow constantly. I mean literally non-stop.

I now sleep wearing Bose noise-cancelling headphones.

Those are the only three posts here mentioning it so far...
I'm actually more concerned with how often it happens to guys...

...You mean, like... all of it?
If so, that's a BIG baby...
Except the underwire, yeah, the little stooge ate the entire thing. And he's not even a year old; he's possessed or something. Or sick of his food.

I'm amused at how many guys are listing destroyed food...

A Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.

Honest. I'd spent at least ten minutes building the perfect PB & J sandwich. When I came back with the milk, I noticed it was gone, and that my dog was holding it in her mouth.

360.
my dog ate it.
T-T
O_O That's horrifying and kind of impressive. How did that happen?
i have no idea.
I walked in the front door and my dog was chewing on the components, surrounded by pieces of what used to be my 360.
it was a sad day.

The worst thing my dog has destroyed was a squirrel...
She got a hold of it in the backyard and... oh god, it was just horrible! O_O
She ripped it up and tossed it about and there was guts and... ugh.

This really nice pair of headphones of mine, my cat chewed through the cable, absolutely superb quality they were and cost around 90 euro.
