Don't know if it qualifies as "old," but the music from Metroid Fusion always made me happy.

I enjoy the hell out of Sonic CD's soundtrack. Not just the opening song, but the entire things's fucking nice.

To clear up a point:

It does not matter how old the game is, as long as the music makes you nostalgia.

For most people, probably games that are at least a few years old.

Turrican 2. The Chaos Engine (in fact, any Bitmap Brothers game). Hired Guns. Shadow of the Beast 2. Zelda: OoT.
YES! Another Turrican fan! The music in that was sublime.

What's all this "Final Fantasy 7" shite? FF7 is not "old"! Asteroids and fucking Breakout- THAT's old! Horace goes Skiing and Jet Set Willy! Treasure Island Dizzy and the New Zealand Story! Basically anything that came out for the Spectrum or before.

Oh yeah. The New Zealand Story. That had a fun soundtrack too, though after an hour or so you may find it has completely permeated your brain and will never leave.

Pokemon, or Final Fantasy 8. The sonf that plays when it's calm, it plays it at Balamb Garden, and different variations throughout the game. This is the song i recognise the most, but the best song would be "The Landing". Such a good song.

This is off-topic, but who thinks that FF8 had amazing graphics for it's time, especially for the PS1.
