I thought of another one, Trigun - Mildly entertaining, has a lot of character clichés played to a T. But the kicker was when it took him 26 or so shows to figure out he didn't have to kill his brother, he just needed to cripple him. Severely. And the show ends with him carrying him into the desert, no repentance, no character development or conclusion. Hell, all the characters were chocked so full of conflicting ideologies and tropes they all seemed to be a little schizophrenic.
"Vash, me and you will bring peace to the west... with our guns... Now DIE!" - Dramatization or Wolfgang.
To predict any critique: Yes, I understand the show and all of it's elements. I'm just poking fun at it's lacklustre narrative and tired morals.
