What movie or show scarred you as a kid?

I've had this discussion with a couple of my friends every once in awhile so I thought I would turn this question to the escapist. (what with this place generally being known for more intellectual discussion)

What movie did you watch as a kid (or when you were younger) that generally left you scarred after words. Be it chucky, terminator, or whatever else your parents or family allowed you to watch as a young age. What about the movie stuck with you and has always haunted you despite being older and knowing better.

One of the most scarring movies for me has always been Little Nemo. Despite being an anime and only realizing it a couple months ago, I watched this movie when I was younger. The darkness in this movie has always frightened me and while I can't pin an exact reason why, it's always stuck with me and scared me to ever watch it again.

I dont remember what the name of the movie was, but I remember watching a movie about a monster, something from Native American folk lore (or very similar) chasing a small boy through the woods, considering that I was myself only a small boy at the time that movie gave me nightmares.
It was also the first time a song stuck in my head too the point where it became annoying. There was a thirty second track of music during the chase scene... I heard it EVERYWHERE until I started blasting metal into my ears to try and block it out...

oh my god. i saw that when i was 8 and saw monsters in hallways for a year.

probably law and order: SVU. i saw it first a few years ago, and since i've had a a EXTREME distaste for SVU. i outright hate it. no one likes rape but it infuriates me. not really scarred me as much as it changed my moral fiber.

XD If you like that, by brother showed me Aliens when I was 7. Literally couldn't sleep for a week.

Lol my gf hates the Law and Order theme, and the "Dun-Dun!!" scene change sound effect, it's scares her 'coz she saw is as a kid and it scarred her.

Me too, I've always believed in aliens and that movie fucked me up. Especially when mr crazy-beard Phoenix is in the closet watching the news and that alien turns to the camera. Also the foot in the crop and when it stands on the roof are freaky too.

AI. The scene where they melt the guy got me scared as hell. The scene was with me for weeks.

Jurassic park when i was 5. And the ring wraiths in the Fellowship of the Ring really screwed with my psychey.(spelling?)

Courage the Cowardly Dog, scared me quite a bit.

The only one that ever really got to me was the hypnotic cooing of "buy fantasy flan, buy fantasy flan" but yeah that show could really pull some mindf**ks on a kid.

Also Scooby doo with the 10,000 volt ghost. When I was like 4. Not so much the show, but more the dream that followed it that night. It was much more fucked up than any film I've seen to date. Hence my phobia of electricity pylons.
