What "pro" gaming behavior ticks you off?

Any camping. Like in UT 2004, some "pro" players (though they are usually good) camp the best vehicles, so they aren't helping the team, they are just helping their own fucking score. The vehicle gets taken only a few seconds earlier, anyways, and the team misses a player from the battle all the time he camps.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that some real dickwads camp for vehicles and get a good score. Then if the team loses they say: "Noob team" or "I was good, but team sucked", when they have camped and have caused difficulties for the other players, who have to fight without the camping players.

I'll just contribute with how much I like how most of the people out there using the word "noob" does not actually know what it means.

Remember back when "noob" meant "newbie"?
Those were the days.
Thank you. You're freaking brilliant.
I'm sorry, was that sarcasm, or...?

Almost nothing irritates me, unless the server is supposed to be a "fun server".

Shouldn't this be in the games forum?

Anyway, I used to be in a reasonably good guild in WoW during the time I played and what would tick me off the most is how a lot of the other people in guild chat would mock people outside of the guild giving them respect and compliments or putting people down when they asked for help.

It was big headed and unnecessary and a frequent concern that they may treat people less fortunate than them in real life the same way.

The 7 year old 'pro' whose squeaky voices are all you can hear down the mic and that keep saying that they are the best despite being last.

I hate the people who accuse me of "not knowing how to plat a Balance Druid" just because I don't have Eclipse. I've tried using it; either it never procs at all, it procs and there's absolutely no noticeable change, or the lag makes me miss out on half the effect's duration. Sometimes a combination of the three.

I choose not to take it because I don't enjoy having it. And people call me a "noob" and say that I "don't know how to play a Moonkin" just because I choose to trade a few hundred DPS for fun. Besides, I'm usually pulling at least 2K without it (in so-so gear).

Also hate it when people ***** at me for valuing crit over haste. To me, it makes no sense to favor haste over crit when crits give us so many bonuses.
Actually your totally gimping your dps. Doing competitive DPS as a moonkin is built around Eclipse procs. Just grab a mod that shows when its procced and what the CD is and your laughing.

Whenever you say something like a joke or being serious about their skill, they always say "Fine, we'll see who's better, lets 1v1!"

This does not matter, due to most games involving 8 or more people.

I finally got this through to one of my "Pro" friends and now he's bearable to be around.

In person, they act alright until games are brought into the picture. Then they turn into judgemental, shit talking, assholes who resort to name calling like they're 5 and bare a grudge against you from that point on.

Basicly, they turn into those guys in highschool I didn't like...the football team! Thinking they're better than you just because they play a game.

Claiming that theirs is the only way to play a game "properly", and dismissing people that want to have fun with the game, because god knows its damn serious business!

I'd say the thing that ticks me off most is their unrelenting selfrighteousness and their apparent unawareness when executing the beforementioned. I'm sure pretty much everyone here has run into someone who had the amazing sense of judgement required to instantly notice their entire team consisted of spectacular morons. Henceforth if anything went remotely bad for our shining star, it'd be the team's fault. But when we do something right, it was all his work.
Now imagine that the abovementioned amazing pro-gamer somehow finds the time to comment on everyone who as much as breaks wind funny. The chat becomes an endless torrent of "We suck so hard, I'm tired of carrying these noobs" ranging to "hah, I fken owned you, these noobs are just stealing my kills." Ofcourse riddled with so much atrocious grammar and l33t-sp33k you start wondering if this guy even wants to be understood.
Add a sizeable scoop of profanity and you're locked in with a constant stream of selfrighteous smugness berating every step you take and badtalking just about well... everything. More then once has this resulted in a collective "will you shut the FUCK up" from both his teammates and enemies, just before he leaves the game like a sad bastard.

/end rant

I have a couple problems with people online, like bitching or being over competitive, but I do these also sometimes so I shouldn't complain. I hate it when I'm having an off-day, so I try to keep my mic off.

Just the inherent aggressiveness. It ruins all games for me.

Just in general, but "pro's" I find especially do this.

When the guy is a arogant prick.
I had a friend that was realy good in smash and every time he got a kill he would look at me and say "You suck". This may not sound annoying but after the first 500 times it gets realy annoying.

People being pussies and sniping you from halfway across the map with a pea-shooter. Be a man, get a sniper rifle for that shit.

In S4, when people invade your base for reasons other than to kill the sniper, constantly, or use the hmg then brag about their score. In fact, lets just add people who brag in generel. No One wants to year you taunt, oh, then complain afterwards. "Go me, I got 200 points! Yay" is like saying "suck it, you all suck compared to mua!" and people really hear "I know how to steal kills with a heavy-machine-gun" most of the time.
Ironically, all these things my love does... you think we need counseling?

Then again, people probably get pissed off when I use a really powerful spread gun, with really bad spread, and get in peoples faces with it.

People who brag that they've been in the game since beta and that means nothing you say matters. It doesn't make you better than me. It only means you have even less of a life than I do

my biggest issue lately with online gaming with 360... these gosh darn 12 yr olds thinking they are all that and a bag of potato chips, thinking they should be the leader, never shutting up or listening and go off and do their own thing and then ***** when they die.

now that i got that out of the way... I hate campers, grave or spawn. I hate ppl who think they know it all, like they know all the short cuts and try to tell us to avoid this or that, ever though maybe WE WANT TO KILL THAT THING YOU WANT TO AVOID?!

also, i play my way not anyone elses, mine, and i learn as i go. I'm not perfect no one is stop thinking you are. do not kick me if i accidently hit you or shoot you, it was an accident or just possibly you got in MY way? and for god's sake stop with the sexual comments about the fact that i'm a girl playing first person shooters... seriously its sick and stupid and way overly childish.

so basically i hate the "pros" and their egotistical, ignorant, arrogant point of views :) and i like noobs, noobs make me feel like i'm good at something xD plus i like helping people, i do it for a living.

people often get ad at me for being better than them in wc3 (I never do any of the "pro" douchebag stuff though) and in other games I find that people only get mad at me for killing them when they are trying to be douchebags. for example, it appears that some people believe that no one is allowed to attack them while they are tea-bagging, and apparently team killing when the other guy has fired several rockets that only missed because you dodged them is bad.

even though it's a little of topic would like to thank all of the 10yearold kids for screwing up games and convincing me not to use a headset.
