When they kick me because I am not a pro at something. Seriously? I bet you liked someone doing that to you when you first started playing a game, sir. Also, I do not like when someone guy who I would have won, beat me only cause his music in the background was too loud. I HAVE MY OWN MUSIC. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WANNA HEAR "THROUGH THE FIRE AND FLAMES" ON YOUR FUCKIN MIC?

Team stacking - All the 'Pro' players in one team, all the lesser players in the other, let the hours long slaughter begin.. And then bragging about how much they are 'owning' the other guys.

Happened quite often, even in every ET (Enemy Territory) clan I was in, I saw members doing the exact same thing on the clanserver, even though they were clearly the superior players. (60-1/60-2) Were not uncommon kill to death ratio's, and imagine a team full of those guys, sad thing is, it didn't even occur to them they were ruïning the game for the other players and shuffle it up so both teams can have some fun.

Also abusing Admin Powers, a big 'no, no'
My God I hate that its happened on Halo 3 I once played a game of Grifball where the matchamking got botched and me and my friend ended up versing a full team. The worst part and I'm fighting back typing in all caps here the other team was made entirely of annyoing little kids who all had their mikes plugged an wouldn't stop cheering and laughing at us.

My personal hell will probaly be being strapped to a chair and forced to play Halo in a 1-on-6 match against a bunch of high-pitched little kids who are all better than me laugh and me whenever they kill me and have themselves a team teabag which has happend in real life to me too God, Halo used to piss me off so much

HA no, play in a game with 4 10-year olds and say that with a straight face
Okay, point taken. Assuming that the other players are serious players that want to play and win, my statement is true: it's a very popular phrase in the world of paintball. The team that communicates with each other the most meets the most success.

Really, most of these complaints are more about noobs than pros. Teabagging, for instance, is a complete noob move. Pros shouldn't do crap like that.

I'm not a professional gamer (meaning I don't make money from playing) but I have a professional attitude about how the game should be played. My main annoyance is when people refuse to talk when playing a strategic team game, or when they don't have a mic. Especially when people who take the game seriously do this: if you're not going to communicate with your team, don't get mad later because it didn't go well. The team that talks the most wins the most.
And if the person's mic is broken or if they can't afford one? Then what? Do you instantly hate them for either something they can't control or can't do?
It's not that: I don't hate them, I just think there should be a playlist on most games similar to how Halo 3 made the MLG playlist: a place where only people serious about the game go to play. That could help separate the fun-loving players from the serious competitors.

Pro-behavior problems. Being given orders in a strategy game by a "Pro" player.

More or less from one of the last Company of Hero matches I had:
"Destroy that machine gun emplacement!" (Emplacement is in a flanking position about half the map away from the major conflict)
"... if I pull back any of my troops that whole front line thing will disappear as well as your base. Meaning I have two pioneers spare to take it out... and running at a machine gun emplacement is a crap idea."
"SO? I'm THE PRO HERE! YOU JUST NOOB. I've been playing months!"

(It would have been nice, if this was the only incident of it in the game, however almost the entire game ended up being like this, every emplacement or capture point... -_- )

If he'd asked me to destroy it, I probably would have found a way to do it without arguing with him... we still won though... mostly because the German rank 3 tanks rock.

In FPS games, it's just the 12 year olds who insult people at every kill.

Spawnkilling. That's it for me.
Amen to that--spawnkilling is my biggest pet peeve. Okay, in the occasional game of Halo 3 I can understand the occasional (un)lucky spawn, but camping out in front of the enemy base waiting for the poor bastards to emerge time and again is unsportsmanlike and LAME on so many levels.

In Left 4 Dead, it pisses me off when people who have the leveles down by heart just fucking speed through and leave you for death. I mean, I'm bad with directions and they're up in god knows where while I'm having my face torn off by a hunter.

People who abuse the spawn system to corner the enemy team in one little spot and slaughter them like fish in a barrel. How was that any fun for anybody involved?

For me, it isn't so much that I'm annoyed by the pros then it is I'm envious. Usually, they're pulling off well rehearsed strategies to capture the flag while I'm stuck on the team of idiots who would rather rush their base on their own individual paths. I'm always left alone to guard our flag.

People who play against those of less experience, basically picking on people smaller than them, its no fun and they just want to piss people off.

People who think that lack of knowledge pertaining to metagames equals less skill.

I didn't know what the hell a crossup was in Street Fighter but I pwn anyways.

I believe that depends, if you actually set up a good position, put some traps around your area and snipe the folks walking across that valley that everyone hates because there's always a camper but they have to because_________ then I see no reall wrong in it.
However if you stand in a corner by a door and melee people in the back all day that I see it as a problem

so you hate "wannabe" pro's? understandable I hate it when my team wont work together, it's really pissy when the other team executes their game with surgical precision but your stuck with the folks who are still bickering that someone stole their camping spot

I know I suck but why don't you just get lost. Damn people who are better than me.
Hey, join the club why do you think I'm on the computer and not playing X-box because I'm sick of watching killcams. I just don't get Call of Duty how do you get good? It seems immpossible

OT: People in those wave-by-wave defense games particularly Nazi Zombies who are SUPER competitive and have this over-meticulous super-specific plan to win and if you do one little thing wrong they yell at you. I played on Verruckt with a guy who seemed nice to begin with
"Alright guys I got to wave 20 with this so follow my lead" I thought it sounded reasonable so I did, then I decided to *GASP* OPEN THE DOOR SO I COULD GET TO THE RANDOM WEAPONS CRATE
heres why happened
Nazi Zombies Nazi: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!
Me: Getting a random weapon
N.Z.N: YOU'RE NOT SUPOSED TO OPEN THAT DOOR!!!11 (with his boyfriend in the background saying "Your an idiot"
Than he and his boyfriend proceeded to rage-quit leaving me and the other guy alone we died pretty quickly.

I also really hate those fucking idiots who think they can order newer players around like "OK Mrk1ller54 get the sniper, don't sass me I've been playing Halo for five years I was pro since Combat Evolved" Fuckin hate those people
haven't met a lot of the folks who think that gaming a lot demands respect but I admit I get kinda mad when I play "der riese" and some bloke ignores everything I say and I end up in a place with no mystery box and a pistol because he would wait a round, I'm not saying I freak though I do have to scold him in the least bit

I once met an actual professional gamer who did tournaments for money, he was nothing like people who claim to be pro, he was actually nice and not a total asshole. I mainly hate people who think that if you don't have a mic, you insistently suck. My mic broke, I wish I could get a new one, but I don't have time and I play fine without it, better maybe. and I don't have one for my computer because I haven't gotten around to it, though I should. and why is it that everyone who claims to be pro is most of the time are 11 or 12? I'm not much older(almost 14) but I know I suck at almost every game I play.
EDIT: I got into a MMORPG a few months ago, I'm a witch specializing in dark spells, an I get told constantly "use light magic noob" "use fire magic noob" "use ice magic noob" "don't be that class, be a summoner noob" and variations there of. thing is, I can actually fly using a broom, so I can dodge over most attacks, and get around the dungeons much faster, as well as dark magic is the strongest of the of all types but takes a while to recharge. and every one else is the "gunner" class, the cheapest class for PVP. maybe it's because the magic user's base appearance is a magical girl, like from amine.

be generic

EX:

playing taokaka in Blazblue (only example I can come up with, so stfu) her damage isn't THAT good, so alot of the higher tier players use more damaging combos, which IMO are the least fun to do (unless their taunt combos, SO MUCH FUN). I instead opt for the weaker, more fun combos to do.

spammers

EX:

people who just spam, get wins, and claim to be pro.

people who don't let up

EX:

I'm really good at Blazblue, if I had an arcade near me, I would be there every day. no joke, but I'm FAR from the best, the people who are better than me (online anyway, because that is where all of the douchebags congregate) dont fucking let up!

when I play someone, I go all out first round, if I beat them by a landslide, then I go easier, but if it was a pretty even match, I go all out again...you get the point.

HOWEVER when people go all out in the first round and beat me by a landslide and continue to go all out REALLY annoy me, it's like, do you take joy from recieving victory from a FAR less skilled opponent?

whatever, I always save my losing replays so I can learn from them.

For me it's the fact that many of these supposed "gamers" have only been playing for under the last decade, esecially the older ones. I grew up a gamer. I remember saturday afternoons with my friends playing Goldeneye 64 on the N64. I remember sleepovers playing Super Mario Kart into the wee hours of the morning. Hell, I remember shooting the damn ducks, and wanting to shoot the damn dog! Then these guys come along, play sports and FPS games, and forever alter my beloved hobby.

/elitism.

In truth, it would have to be having my playstyle critiqued, especially when I'm told that I'm playing "wrong". It's a game people! There's no right or wrong way to play.

Camping, spawn camping, and thinking everything you do is better and more respectable just because you've played the game a few hours more.
On MW2 release day, people already moaning about 'noobs' using nades! We were all bloody noobs on release day you fools!
Not true my good fellow. in this instance the people in question are noobs, in addition to being newbs. everyone is a newb because they are NEWBies to the game, but not everyone is a noob, one who resorts to unskilled ore generally frowned upon tactics due to a lack of skill, i.e. m16 w/stopping power in COD.
