One could replace the word 'stupid' with 'gay' and suddenly everyone is a psychotic fascist bigot. My point is that there are stupid people in this world just as much as there are smart people. In fact, with all of the stupid people gone, the bell curve distribution will shift, making the average folks (mostly: you and me) stupid. Then we'll have this discussion all over again. There are quite literally thousands of them in the UK, with whole parts of certain cities inhabited just by these people. one person might not be that much of a drain, but when theres thousands, the numbers add up rapidly

Pretty good idea because it means we still have the lazy asses to work manual labour and/or fast food joints.

If they're disturbing the classroom then put them in their own class. All of them, just lock them up for the day so they don't piss off the people who actually want to get ahead. Maybe every few months have an exam to check and see whether anybody is actually trying to get out.

this system almost exists in most schools... its called the IB/AP program, smart hardworking people get to go to class with other awesome smart hardworking people. and to be honest it works really well. although it does foster a certain amount of elitism as previously stated... these smart hardworking (i'm not going to say it...) people tend to look down on the other levels of class... stigmatizing them for being stupid or lazy... but oh well. social darwinism for the win.

I can't believe people even consider this to be an option.

First of all, genes don't automatically determine if someone is smart or stupid. The education they receive usually has larger impact on their intelligence. Secondly, how the hell do you determine who has to be sterilized? Third, sterilization isn't something you can reverse. If someone you sterilized turns their life around and becomes a productive member of society they will still lack the ability to reproduce. Fourth, you never want to limit genetic diversity.

1st They play a significant part in determining intelligence and cognitive reasoning...
2nd this would be determined depending on crimes committed...
3rd freeze some semen or some eggs...
4th nature thinks differently...
