Judging by your birthdate on your profile I assume these are end of year exams for university, in which case I am extremely jealous since my own uni exams aren't for another three weeks. On topic, however, I personally reckon that drinking in the morning is silly unless you're an alcoholic. Which is also silly. However, when we go out my flatmates and I usually start drinking early evening (around 7pm onwards), although I have drunk earlier than that. If you're at lunch or some sort of celebration or event, (for example, whenever my rugby friends come round to watch the game) then I suppose afternoon drinking is alright too.Ben Legend said:So... what time do you think it is acceptable to start drinking at?
I ask this because it is currently 2:46 Pm (here in the UK)
and I've had a few drinks to celebrate my end of exams, and feel like getting people's opinions on this.
Do you need a specific reason to drink? whether it be socialising, or celebration, or whatever the reason.
personally, i believe drinking in the morning is a bit wierd unless there is a reason.
Gee, no wonder nobody really liked me apart from the nerdy kids in high school, I wasn't drinking NEARLY enough! But I can't drink too much because it would mix with my meds and, as we say in visual novel terminology... BAD END.ix_tab said:When you are 18, as soon as you wake up. But only for that year. If you continue on after that, you are a drunkard.
/rural Australia raised logic.
Basically in my last year of school my entire year, standing on the social ladder notwithstanding was drunk day in, day out.
This is kind of gross, but expected of 18 year olds. Ahh, all the destroyed brain cells.
Dude, you're an alcoholic.Konrad Curze said:And I know what you are thinking but no! I am not a alcoholic.
I approve of your dog, and your alcohol timing.Fraser.J.A said:After exams, and especially at the end of high school, for one week it is acceptable to drink at any point of the day and for any length of time.
That is complete bull. You can be an alcoholic at around 5 drinks per day. It is recommended by doctors that you don't go over 2 drinks a day.Konrad Curze said:I asked around and the base rule seems to be you are only a alcoholic if you have to have 17+ drinks a day. Anything less than 17 and you are fine.
