Gave infinite fuel to your airplane in a Swedish game for kids.
Quality stuff though, not like those things known today as "edutainment", or licensed titled based off children's movies.

I'd rather not have kids at all than having to watch them play that stuff, though that's a debate for another time.

Probably Pokemon Red. Was going up and down the coast of Cinnabar Island and fighting MissingNo. a cheat?

I'd count it as one, as you were also able to catch a good number of other pokemon there. I used a crud-ton of cheats in Pokemon Red, also the first game I did use cheats for. Stopped using them when I got to be around 13-14 and just got better at playing games.

Warcraft II. It was really hard for me when I was a kid, so I got frustrated and just wanted to obliterate my enemy.

I recall using cheats in the Spider-Man game for the N64(probably the first game I used cheats on). Or some Power Rangers game for the SNES. Not sure which one was first(in my using cheats, not their release).

I got a game genie for xmas one year for my 8 bit nintendo. That was pretty fun playing around with. I try not to cheat on any games before I beat them, unless they just frustrate the piss outta me. Contra was the first game I cheated on before I beat it. Eventually I was good enough to beat it without dying once, but I remember that game giving me no end of hell.

I remember there was a spyro game on ps1 that had cheats to make him change colour, but it didn't give you any advantages. First game I used an actual cheat in was Abe's Oddyssey, to get level select and skip the puzzles I couldn't solve. Got me the bad ending though
