I'm in the same boat. I guess I'm going with GTA:San Andreas, but I don't even know anymore... there must have been something before that.Daystar Clarion said:
I'm sure one of the Jurassic Park games I played back in the day would have been rated 10+ or T or something, but that was before the ESRB existed. And after that my mind blanks out.
edit: Golden Eye came to mind, but that was also only rated T. Hmn...
It was (as far as I remember) the Die Hard Trilogy for the PS1. I was about 9-10ish. The ammount of blood in that game was unreal especially in the Die Hard 3 game.
Oh God some of these responses make me feel old; and I'm not even 20 yet DX.

I've never paid any notice on the ratings. Really. And I can't be bothered to check which one of the games I've played has a 18+ rating. They vary so much anyways, so I can't even make out from their Wikipedia pages.
Doom *, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Half-Life, and couple others from the 90's which name's I can't recall. Unless some Amiga games I've played even before that, had such ratings.
So my age was something from 8-10. Difficult to rate the gore, all I know is there's quite a lot, In Dooms, Blood and the other two I can't remember.

GTA San Andreas when I was about 14/15. Parents wouldn't let me get Vice City when I was 10, when everyone else I knew was playing it. To be honest, I wouldn't let my kid either.
GTA, the very first one on Playstation, I must've been... ooh... 6 or 7 in 1999? Excellent parenting right there!
Although IMO, that game had nothing on the explicitness of III onwards. (All of which I've owned by the way and I'm still not 18 for another two weeks exactly!)
Also, Fun Fact: I'm not a complete fuck up either. I'm polite, I have awesome friends, I visit my Granny often, I study, I go to University and I'm currently looking for a new job so I'm not leeching off my parent's constantly. I've only gotten violent a few times in my life, but that was because the school, everyone there has had a fight at one point, even half the teachers.

Modern Warfare 2, I think. I'd only had 15s before then. I either got it on my 16th birthday or on Christmas day two days beforehand...
The first game I had with blood in it was W40k: Fire Warrior for the PS2 when I was about 12, which is still a great game. My Dad wasn't too happy with it though...
