Mortal Kombat

FIGHT!
To me I find it quite funny that Mortal Kombat is taken so seriously in violence. Yeah it was in the 90's so it was different there but I believe that Midway made it in an intended humorous way. Sure it's violent but with things like "Toasty" and Liu Kang in it, you can't help but see it in the other way.

Also Liu Kang is awesome, one of my two favorite characters tied with Sub-Zero. Classic not aged.

Although I must say the game coming next year WILL be horribly violent, don't believe me? Go to the The Escapist Link [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/101244-Prepare-for-Mortal-Kombat] watch the video and see what Kung Lao (Guy with sharp hat) does to Sub-Zero, now imagine that without the thing there. Yeah.

OT: I'm not sure. Might have been TF2? I don't know can't remember.

I'm not too sure. For a young family, we had a surprising amount of mature games. It was probably Hexen, Mace: The Dark Age, Deus Ex or Theif: Gold.

And I was about 7 or so.

I think the first game I ever played was mature rated, when I was 2. Marathon, on the mac.

If not that, then Turok when I was 4.

My parents were as big into gaming then as I was now, so the rating thing didn't mean much to them. They aren't quite as active anymore.
LOOOOOOOOOOL - and a big SUUUUUUURE to all the other tards here ....

I bet my ass that you couldnt even tie ya shoes alone with the age of 2 !

Next thing you wanna tell me is you played GTA on a PSP while u where still IN ya mother.

rofl , take youre story and shove it dude. Go back to magic wonder land.

Same to all the other Noobs who want to tell they played Doom with the age of 3 and so on...

downright ridiculous

Cheers

I the first mature rated game i played was Paradise Café for the ZX Spectrum, i can't even recall if those games had a rating to be honest, but this was an infamous game for its explicit content. Its a portuguese game, one of the few made for Spectrum.

Can't even remember how i got it, my parents didn't bought it, that i am certain lol

Not a good game, by any standards.

I didn't answer the question, silly me.

I actually had Dracula which was the first 15 rated game ever in the UK, also got Jack the Ripper which was the first 18 rated game. NOW I feel old.

The first I can remember is GTA: Vice City because it was so fun, but I'm not sure if it was the first 18 game I actually had.

Syphon Filter 1 for playstation one. I used to sit and watch my dad play through it. Before anyone jumps on him saying "BAD PARENT!", before I sat with him he explained it was fake, and all that malarky. After he finished I got round to having a ago myself. I died ALOT, but finally got the gist and able to get as far as level 14. The Stronghold Catacombs, where you had to follow a scientist to get to Phagan.
