Doom for N64 when I was about 7?

It was so amazing at that time. I stayed up late so my Dad wouldn't know I was playing his games, the first time I got that chainsaw man...amazing still.

The banned PS1 game, thrill kill o_O
You got hold of it? That game is so crazy lol
I think that if it came out right now it wouldn't be banned.

Lets make a Thrill Kill revival petition :p
Lol yeah, i bought it off my friends brother at the time. As for it being banned now... i dunno, its fairly tame on the gore compared to some "mature" games. Kerb stomping, decapitations and Fatalities are all fairly common now :3

Mortal Kombat on my SEGA when I was...5 or so?

At the time I didn't know what it was...I think my cousin just gave it to me. I thought it was your average fighting game. Then one day I accidentally performed Scorpion's fatality...I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty damn scared.

Wolfenstein 3d or Doom 2 when I was 6 (mom bought Doom 2 to my big brother thought he was 8 then)

And I remember one time when I was 10 I bought Apocalypse (the one that had Bruce Willis in it) eventhought half of the cover was covered with k-18 mark. Cashier didn't notice that or something.

Ok, reading this thread i realize two things, either we have an ENTIRE thread full of bullshitters or the age rating system in our respected countries EPIC FAILS.

I KNOW its number 2 because no-one takes the age rating seriously anymore, sure it's still law in britain but its easily bypassed with dumb/ignorant parents buying the kids GTA or something.
And ill bet none of these people went on killing sprees in real life either, proving that immortal 'violent videogame' myth wrong.

The first Resident Evil. My dad got it when I was 7, he let me play it and I thought it was the best thing ever.

Original Doom on my Dad's PC. My older brother installed it and made it work and left it running. I was rubbish but fuckin hell it was fun ;D

And yet despite a life time of games of varying degrees of violence I have still not actually killed someone. Am I doing it wrong?

My parents have always been passively against video games but they didn't mind me playing mature rated games. Vice City is the first I can think of. Maybe I had shown them that I am mature enough that I can play those kind of games. Was maybe age 10 at the time.
