An aircraft carrier, with most of the flight deck used to grow food. Then I stay away from the zombie-infested shores.

hehe, I was thinking about the people that shouts:"my dads shotgun!", because I don't believe(not even in america) that drum mags to shotguns are that common... and my point was, having a shotgun with 8 shots is fine, but when you have to fumble around in your pockets or whatever, to find new shots, and then getting them in the gun the right way with zombies after you... that ain't gonna be easy, but with a magazine! ha, you can continiue removing heads for a long time, and still change mag quickly!GBlair88 said:

I'm just offering it as a fun alternative to a lightsaber until someone actually builds one. Plus it's slightly more creative than the average shotgun option.pikepelago said:

for a gun? a bolt action is the best since only headshots will kill a zombie and fully auto guns make people wana just unload into a hoard and will only take out like one or two so a powerfull high call bolt action like a mosin nagant or a kar98 though id have a semi auto pistol or two as a side arm and a katana for when i run out of ammo possibly the best line up for the zombie apocalypse though id probly mount a gattling gun (or other high cal 1000 rounds per minute gun) on the back of a truck just so i could have some fun and shred a bunch of zombies to pieces
An M1A1 Carbine, while not as powerful or accurate as its Garand counterpart, it does not need to be. I may be a pretty good shot but I can't use the Garand to its full range, and the extra power(and recoil that comes with it) is unnecessary because a bullet in the head is all that is needed. The gun is also very reliable and it's 15 round magazine is enough to take out a good sized group. It also has a fairly light weight and common bullet as well. I also would take the Ak-47 too.
